  • Dano is being played through the Sarge and OX Box.

Novo and Brad’s Fender are being played through the Revv.

  • Make sure he puts a sticker on his bumper to let everybody know how far he run. And then I'll put a sticker on my bumper to let you know that I don't give a f*** how many miles you ran or didn't run. In fact nobody gives a f*** but you. So it's kind of pointless to put a sticker on your car

  • I always wondered if the pros ever played just for fun. It was cool to see you guys doing it. This was a great episode. Definitely do more like this!

  • What are the studio monitors you use? Couldn’t seem to find any studio monitors on Google associated with Bobby Holland.

  • On the discussion of pedalboards, I think it's that we utilize them to self – produce, which makes so much sense live in the context of a band. We're trying to sound more like a record. In the context of recording, that turns into a double layer of production which is often unnecessary and can be overall diminishing to the sound of the guitar.

It is likely often better to let the engineer and very expensive studio outboard gear do the production heavy lifting rather than your pedals, but of course it is whatever works that wins ultimately.

  • I'm feeling the connection here: I've been to The Underdog for a show . . . I watch "The Voice" every season . . . my son and DIL live in Goodlettsville . . . and I rent your guitar course. Hope to run into you and pay my respects one day. ????????????????

  • On the ring finger slide debate: When my pianist mother was approaching her age related decline, my inspiration was to start taking her to classical events. We went to a performance of a pianist who just killed it, then offered for anyone interested, to attend a free Master Class the next morning at 10 am. Yes, my mom really wanted to go and we did. At one point, the teacher and master pianist listed all the latin muscle names from the back, neck shoulder, upper and lower arm, wrist and some fingers. Then asked which finger on either hand do you think is the power finger (now I think he asked first then listed muscle names) . The answer is the ring finger, and for any pianist playing solo in a concert hall, their job is to reach way back to the entrance; the cheap seats where patrons are in their jeans, having just gotten off work and barely nade the show on time. Who can forget the critique of a student’s performance like that? That’s what a Master Pianist really is, just that deep and just as nurturing. Anyway, this just confirmed my preference for the slide be on my ring finger and no need to worry if I’m doing something wrong.
