  • Also very light. Been hauling heavy tube amps for 50 years. Can’t do it anymore. Great sounding and does the job.

  • All I need is a good clean channel and a touch of spring reverb.
My pedal board will handle the rest.

  • Workin man line is perfect too for SS.
Ive had a ampeg ss 70 .it was a combo that went through the bus fire. I pulled the tray put new knobs on it and built a wood box made it a head

  • Bought mine a couple weeks ago. Absolutely love it. I have used a Mustang II for several years, and I prefer the Champion. Great review!

  • Man you are the only one that showed how great this amp can be…

  • Great video. Question. I'm new to playing and have a fender champion 100 and a fender front man 10. When I try to play the solo on nothings gonna stop us now I'm not able to get the sound nearly loud or full enough with the volume way up. Are there settings that are likely not where I need them to get the sound on the bends?

  • I have one of these and I love it. I have it paired with an orange crush 35ldx. The combination of the 12 inch celestion and the 10 inch voice of the world speaker really accentuate each other. It’s like the fender puts all the pretty high end frequencies back in to my sound. Play a telecaster and run a pedal board into the front ends (the pedal board is all overdrives and distortion s lol). I am in love with the clean+compression setting on the champion.

  • Just got one. I'm a jazzer and this is a great amp. I use my Fender 65 reissues for gigs but this makes a killer practice amp.

  • Ok, this was the best review of this amp so far, i didn't know 50xl can do this, now I'm gonna buy it without any doubt.

  • I’m not a tone snob, I want something easy to get good sounds from (sorry Katana and Vypyr, I suck at menu diving and apps), I like to play quietly (sorry 99% of tube amps) and I’m a father of 3 so I don’t have much extra cash. This seems perfect and I love fender so win-win.

  • Old video i know, just purchased this amp and am really impressed. What you get for the price is a phenomenal amp. Especially when you consider that most pawn shops have 20 to 30 year old practice amps sitting around and still want 200 to 300 dollars for them. Fender got it right with this one!
