  • Why should I be surprised that Sir Elmo can just spontaneously play even some obscure Def Leppard song? This man on a guitar is like, "The Man" after all, likely just born with a unique musical ability that ha has honed to perfection. When Yngwie Malmsteen himself pauses to tell you that: "YOU are very Good…" at a world class level guitarists convention. well, you must be doing something right. Excellent content as usual too.

  • I really wish you would give your thoughts about the device on the Youtube video instead of just Patreon. Many guitarist make good demos, but what makes your channel shine is your honest opinion.
Even if the unit was given to you, just add the answers to the questions: Would I really spend my own money for this device? Would I recommend others to spend this much?
You are one of the few people I would trust to evaluate those questions.
Just my 2 cents. Please keep up the good work.

  • You know Elmo, I have my katana bass amp, I do t need anything “modeling” or nothin like that, but I love your vids because of random jokes like the Def Leppard one you made! I hadn’t heard that one before! But the real question is, what has 9 arms and sucks?!?!

  • My jazz standard is kow standard..
Too funny of a phrase that made me laugh.
    The lick did sound jazz….
Let's call it comedy jazz ????
I've enjoyed your channel for some time now.
Also want to say, respect to all teachers! At 67 years old, l still remember 4th and fifth grade teachers that left a strong memory BECAUSE OF THEIR PATIENCE with me.
You seem to be one of those teachers who taught students well..

  • I have used FX units for years, I used to gig with the Yamaha GW50, but I also have the Bible 500, the sounds you get out of that. but it is being able to use them live, that is why foot pedals still exist.

  • Thanks Elmo – That box can do a lot of stuff. Guitar playing can be a cheap hobby or an expensive hobby. $358 US on Amazon.

  • Thanks Elmo. How much did you actually like the Amp sims etc., in terms of realism and basically just liking them, authentic or not? (Quite a few buskers and travelling musicians are using FX units these days, probably the reason for the battery?) ????

  • Hi Elmo, this is way off topic, but could you do a video comparison of your Harley Benton Tube 15, before and after your upgrades and change of speaker please? (And may be a brief run through on what was changed.)

Re the amp sim processor, these type of things can sound great on headphones or straight into your computer/DAW, but I am starting to think that the best way to use these gizmos is to use the processor effects only in the loop of your amp. I have a NUX MG30 and it is becoming apparent that I need to have 2 settings for the same sound, I.e. one for home and one for live (through a pa etc).

    Great channel thanks!!????????

  • I really like the design – I was thinking for some time to buy something more modern than my HX Stomp (and with pedal + XLR outputs) this look preatty cool, but lack of any bass amps kills it for me :(.

However the design is super slick!

  • Jo intro soundi vakuutti näin vanhaa bluesmiestä.
    Pitääpä kuunnella loputkin.
    Great intro sound assured immediately????.

  • This looks pretty fun, I have a Boss GT8 and this sounds much better than mine (Guess it is a bit dated now) but €400 seems fairly steep. I think I paid £250 for my GT8 brand new back in the day.

  • It was all going so well until you mentioned the price ! Not saying it is not worth it but it's well outside my price range. The tone of the intro lick is one I have long wanted to get but never have managed to nail. The other sounds are very good as well for this type of unit but really not my kind of thing.
