A FREE Pultec-style plugin: Kiive Audio warmy EP1A Tube EQ. It’s hard to find a decent-sounding Pultec-style eq plugin that can compete with the one I often use, the Universal Audio EQP-1A. But this time I’ve found one, and it is even available for free!

Looking at the features of this plugin it reminds me of the Warm Audio EQP-WA, maybe it is inspired by that audio unit. But this eq plugin offers some interesting controls, too.

In the video you will hear the plugin tested on a bass track, so you can have an idea about what this eq can do before you download it for free.

ABOUT ME
I am Mirko Russo, a musician and producer. I have been committing myself to music since I was 11: that’s when I began playing guitar. In the following years I have collected experience with bands and live gigs in Apulia, Southern Italy. In parallel with this, I started recording my own instrumental songs and releasing some albums throughout the years. Indeed, I felt that it is another crucial aspect which helps the potential of a song to express itself. So I decided to attend some courses about sound engineering, mix, mastering and the software Logic Pro X.
