RE: PAUSING, EXPRESSIONS & AIR-INSTRUMENTS:
Please be mindful that we will pause (we prefer to react in the moment & to avoid copyright strike), we will react with enthusiasm, smiles, tears, conversation, exchanged looks and air-instruments. We are expressive by nature and are truly very quirky in every sense of the word. This is who we are and this is what we’ve got to offer. We understand it may not be for everyone, but here’s to hoping you all enjoy and we absolutely love positive comments and feedback.

  • They're fine instrumentally, but I never could get into Netherworld because I just can't get past the fact that I don't like the vocalist at all. His singing adds nothing to the music for me and actually detracts from it, as it just doesn't seem to fit. The truly great Prog bands of the past always had fantastic vocalists who enhanced the music with their voices.

  • This is great! It has an "Edge", more akin to Prog Metal for its time. VERY impressive. Saga from Ontario Canada, and their 4th album "Worlds Apart" really put them on the map in 1981 (which you need to breakout the CD and hear) with their hits "Wind Him Up" and "On the Loose", but the deep cuts are awesome too. Their next album "Heads or Tales" is a personal fave.
Netherworld was really cool, I'd look for the re-issue of their album. The guitars did remind me of Marillion (their 1st album "Script for a Jester's Tear" came in 1983!), so these guys were really ahead of their time. But again, was a bit heavier like early Prog Metal (the guitar). The Mellotron touches were nice too.
    – Nice reaction exposure for them, for those like me who love finding stuff like this! Thank you Nick and Steve H!

  • Reminds me of a proggy version of Truimph. First cut at least. Agree with Eric. The vocalist is not my favorite but band is very tight. Never heard them before. Thanks for the exposure Steve. Nice to see the marathons back.????????❤

  • Nice Marathon! Really enjoyed the music here! The weak link of the band is the vocalist. Does not have a bad voice but comes off a little amateurish at times! Overall great discovery! Fun video Nick! Glad you are back doing videos man!
