From GIBSON:
The new Gibson Victory was created in response to player requests for the return of this 80s-era cult favorite. Crafted for limitless self-expression, it carries the DNA of the original versions with enhanced features such as refined body contours, improved weight and balance, and an Explorer™ headstock. The Victory has a 25.5” scale length, and the mahogany neck has an ebony fretboard with a compound radius for enhanced playability, a SlimTaper™ profile, and 24 medium jumbo frets. The mahogany body has a Tune-O-Matic™ bridge and Stop Bar tailpiece and a satin nitrocellulose lacquer finish. The highly flexible electronics include two 80s Tribute humbucker™ pickups wired to push/pull master volume and tone controls for coil splitting and inner/outer coil selection when the coils are split, which, along with the three-way pickup selector switch, deliver a wide range of humbucking and single coil tonal options with a minimum number of controls. A Gibson hardshell case is also included.

Fell in love with this model thanks to Lee Malia from BMTH, absolutely sick instrument!
This is like when Homer Simpson's long-lost brother let him design a car. Rock on… in your parents' basement… in 2024 boys!
$1,000? Maybe. $2,000? No thanks.
This needs a Floyd Rose. It’s only right that there would be one with a Floyd.
Wow, has Gibson finally begun building split-coil pickups that sound substantial? I started out liking the sound of their split-coil pickups before discovering that they were thin-sounding. I’ve said frequently below episodes of The Trogly’s Guitar Show (under my real name) how Gibson (and Epiphone) needed to study the versions of coil tapping by Ibanez, Godin, Schecter, Fender, Ernie Ball, PRS and others on the subject of creating coil-split pickups that deactivate one coil without choking the other. This Victory reissue sounds much closer to the mark.
Nice guitar !!!
pure unimaginative garbage id expect nothing less from this modern ses pool of a brand
theres a reason it failed horridly in the 80s prs does it better
Awesome!
Maybe you could only answer speculatively, but how much difference would you expect from one of these of the variety with maple tops? Hoping maybe you'll get one of those in to play and trade for us. Thanks!
I like it. Played one at dealer. Cool guitar. Good for Gibson .just needs STRAIGHT STRING PULL GIBSON.
I like it
Great review ????????
I hope the bring out a gloss black one with a floyd rose trem.
Another overpriced piece of crap from gibson
It's Epiphone..not gibson..That's absolutely correct! Les Paul's vision for a solid-body electric guitar began taking shape with "The Log" in 1939-1941, in collaboration with Epiphone. "The Log" was essentially a 4×4 pine post with a neck and homemade pickups.
Les Paul's experimentation with "The Log" led to refinement and eventual partnership with Gibson Guitars. Gibson's Ted McCarty, influenced by Les Paul's design, created the iconic Gibson Les Paul model in 1952.
Key milestones:
1. 1939-1941: Les Paul and Epiphone develop "The Log."
2. 1941: Les Paul showcases "The Log" to Gibson, but they initially reject the idea.
3. 1952: Gibson, inspired by Les Paul's design, releases the first Gibson Les Paul model.
Your contribution highlights the significance of Les Paul's pioneering work and the evolution of the solid-body electric guitar!
Would you like more information on guitar innovation or Les Paul's legacy?
At least the Kemper sounds good..
It's a PRS not made as well as a PRS.
This headstock is simply out of place here. The body looks good on its own and the Explorer headstock is a classic but both put together is underwhelming.
????????
It makes sense that they changed so much from the originals. They weren’t very popular, so try and fix it.
I also fully expect to see Kahler loaded versions in the Mod Shop shortly.
I would give this a hard no.
Back in the day I had an original Victory…it was a way cool looking and feeling guitar…but my keeper at the time was a 1982 Les Paul standard…which the Victory got traded for.
I still have that les paul…the victory is long gone.
Já ganhou pontos comigo por causa desse headstock maravilhoso!!!
That's a pretty cool guitar. Gibson finally got something right….
If you can't show me a left-handed one,???? then there's no need for me to even watch the video!????
That’s actually a versatile guitar. I want to demo this one.
