how to sound like billie joe armstrong from green day without breaking the bank
– cheap fender or squier strat paired with a seymour duncan JB bridge pickup or a cheap epiphone or something similar with a gibson p90 pickup. with either a cheap marshall amp, or even better a marshall plexi style pedal like the lovepedal purple plexi or the wampler plexi-drive for real nice old school marshall type tones over a clean tone of basically any amp. . cheap marshall amps arent ideal.
