  • I bought mine before it was released. I love the amp and the battery really does work very well. If you go wireless with the Positive Grid LINK you have such a cool professional gigging Amo. I havE not tried two instruments at the same time but there are so many aPP RELATED WAYS TO TWEAK YOUR SOUND. i LOVE IT AND i SOLD TWO OTHER AMPS ONCE i RECEIVED IT. buY IT AND YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED. I was wondering if you would demonstrate the different sound between setting it standing and on its side?

  • Why isn't my signal coming out in stereo?
I am running my stereo device into the left and right into the left and right inputs properly into the back but my signals are being summed to mono (yes my spark is being placed in landscape/stereo position)
If this is normal it's a huge deal breaker and very misleading
I've already returned my Spark cab because of its limited mono only capability but truly believed that this was a true stereo system that I could use for running my other guitar modelers through in stereo
I sell tons of spark gear at the music store that I work at because of my fondness of it but if this isn't capable of stereo through external inputs I will be encouraging my customers to follow my lead with returning theirs within their return window timeframe
Major oversight on positive grids part
I seriously hope I'm wrong about this but if I'm not
This thing's going back to the store I work at & where I bought it

  • I'm thinking of getting this for acoustic guitar amp. Running a Zoom AC3 to it. Or maybe the cab version of it which is 140watts.

  • Can you run the Spark Live out to a mixing board/PA system from the Line Out jack on the back of the amp? If so, do you need to run it through a DI box into the board/PA?

  • Without the optional battery pack is there an internal rechargeable battery that will power the amp without the optional battery pack?

  • I've got the original Spark & it is amazing. At 40W it's almost enough to keep up with a drum set but not quite loud enough. I see Positive Grid just came out with the Spark 2 at 50W and has a Looper. I will probably end up getting this Live amp as it has 150W + all the extra plug ins. These are really great amps even my 70 year old father got 1 last year & he loves to play his music through the Bluetooth. They sound really great. Not to mention the app has endless amounts of effects that truly sound amazing. If you're on the fence about these amps, don't hesitate….you could do a lot worse but it would be difficult to do much better especially at their price point.

  • WHAAAAAT ?!?! Is that small combo looking box 150W ?!? That is insane, I would have guessed like 80W maaaaybe 100W max lol. I want a unit that you can use a few hours on battery though, I am a bit sad that the Spark 40W did not have that battery feature, I think the Spark Mini looks a bit small and I am afraid that it is not loud enough for playing around a campfire with some friends.

I guess if my two friends that plays bass and electric guitar like me also bring a Spark Mini each, the sound will be louder and better around a campfire for example. And the Spark Mini should be enough volume to play at home in my appartment, and I also just found out that the Spark mini you can plug into your computer to record stuff into your daw program like Pro Tools, and use with amp simulator programs like Amplitube 5 in your computer ? Now that is just awesome 🙂

I just wish Positive Grid or if there is another company similar that builds a bluetooth amp that sounds a bit louder, has a bit more go than the SPARK MINI but I still can put it in a big bag / backpack and be able to run it on battery for 3-8 hours, if anyone has tips on other bluetooth amps/speakers like the SPARK Mini but that has a bit more ouumpfff please tell me!

PS. I am not interested in Blackstars and Katanas that does not have an app with amp simulations and effects like positive grid has, I really need those amp simulators and effect pedals in the amp or in a app.

  • It seems this amp can do about anything but the dishes! ????
So I was wondering to get this, and also use ot as a rehearsal amp, and then I learned about the DI… So I was wondering, if our drummer laid down a drum track, could I play that over the amp via a DAW on laptop and record 2 guitars, 1 bass and vocals over it directly into the DAW through the amp? That would be insane…

  • Good video. Curious – I've had the Spark amps and thought they were a little bassy. Does this PA have that bassy sound? Thanks !

  • for guitar i can see how it could be used with a live band. All the tech is great but I have doubts that it can be used as a bass amp with a live drummer . 150 watts and 6 inch speakers , even dedicated bass amps / combos struggle with anything less than an 8 inch speaker . I wanna beleive this amp can do it , so many great features ,, any bass players had any experience using it with a drummer ?

  • You're remind me of Garth from Wayne's World, but like, the 2024 version.
And I think you just sold me. This appears to be exactly what I'm looking for. Thanks!

  • Thanks for the video! I just got mine and extra batteries today. Hoping you can help with a stupid question. How the hell do you charge these batteries? Mine didn't come with any sort of charger or adapter. Do you just put them in the Spark Live while it's plugged in?
