  • I put this video in my Watch Later list six years ago. I was looking for something to watch this morning and pulled up the list to see what I might find in there. Imagine my surprise to find a very young looking you staring back at me! I regurly watch your channel. I must have subbed 6yrs ago lol. I just want to say that your playing has gotten exponentially better over these past 6yrs! Great job bro! Way to go! You don't get to your level as a player without lots of hours of disciplined practice.

  • How be play like Jimmy Page in a live context:
Play guitar down to your knees
Play the blues licks you stole
Atempt to said licks lighting fast and extremely loud
    F** the changes
Use rock'n roll use an excuse
Wear a dragon outfit to descract the audience

This was purely satire, been listening to Led Zeppelin for 2 weeks now mostly live performances.

  • It’s great that you can show off on the roofs with your speed, but it would be great if you would slow it down supposed to the very first refusal. Be nice to to learn it, but who can when you’re going out a warp speed smh

  • Jimmy was the most wanted session player in England. I always hear how sloppy his solos are, no knock on Joe Satriani or Stev Vai, in fact I grew up no more then 15-30 minutes from them both but I rather hear a Jimmy Page solo in his prime then those two guitar players. Don't get me started on Joe Bonamaso.

  • You forgot the major habit of Jimmy and most important than all the others you mentioned. He knows how to dress… a lost art nowadays. If Hendrix and Page have to teach something is how to be cool oh and how to have balls and not to be scared

  • I have not heard any smearing demonstration. Is extremely difficult, but the most difficult is the way he holds the guitar, so low is extremely difficult to even play a note on a guitar

  • Great point about Page’s rhythm playing. As great as Page’s solos are, both live and in the studio, I think he’s closer to Hendrix in that he was one of the greatest rhythm players who could fill space (being the only guitarist on stage) with really really cool fills and surprising rhythmic flair. Van Halen was so great at this as well

  • When he gets to In Through The Out Door, it's an album FULL of B-Bender Telecaster. I learned everything on it before I even knew what a B-Bender was, so I got this weird feature in my technique where it sounded like I was using a B-Bender all the time. People would be like, "Wow, that's kind of a cool sound!"
