Phrasing… Perfect Word.. you are absolutely True Bro.. ????????????
Love simply
Instead of scales, here’s how to use all 12 notes over a Blues. First find each chord’s 3-b7, then 1-3-5-b7, then 1-b3/3-4-b5-5-b7, then add in 6-2. Finally add in b2-b6-7 in chromatic lines that resolve.
Less is more.
Kermit the Guitar
Stop learning new scales, learn new rhythms
That tone sucks
Learn more notes there are only 12
Perfectly said my dude, and what a good practice exercise!
This is why I love bb king simplicity mastered! Good advice bro ????????
Talks about the best solos have great phrases…..
Proceeds to play the dumbest phrases thinkable as an example….
???? just joking excellent point!
Dont need to learn theory or scales? I'll compare your music success from those who fluently know music theory. Ya'll enjoy your confirmation bias echo chamber of telling yourselves that pentatonic minor is all you need. Enjoy the (lack of) success.
Play a simple chord progression with some fills or riffs over the rhythm parts or half rhythm half riff per bar.
Nice
Like it! So true!
Cool video! You actually helped me improve a lot, just watching your short taught me that I too can make up a little tune! Take my subscription!
????
That is sweet
Yngwie Malmsteen could use this tip.
You just earned a new sub
I agree with the idea of simplifying your solos, but not with disregarding theory.
It’s important to know what key signature you’re in and what scales work with it. Although I get the point of your video, it may be misconstrued as disregarding ALL the theory.
This is true, melody n the hook is the meat n potatoes.
Showing off on a solo is ok but to be honest, no one cares really about the fast crap if a melody is not there, even if the melody is there all those notes kill the song.
Less is more in guitar playing.
So is like fucking with rythym
Will definitely try this, thanks for some solid advice!
Nice advice man. Also nice EVH
