The record tone is more sharp and has a fuzz type sound with major speaker breakup. It’s also lower in key then you’re playing it.
Why not use a strat
This is the right tone if its whatever you remembered from 40 years ago, seriously dude this is too clean. He only rolls the volume off for the intro and the next part is on full, so more distortion
