I dont have a flanger, but will try my phase 90 mini phaser along with carbon copy deluxe and chorus.
billy duffy
Sounds like there should be a Chorus and some distortion as well?
Used a multi fx pedal plus Gibson, worked well enough for me cheers for the vid!
Billy has stated that to get the true sound, you pick between the bridge and the bridge pickup.
What is the sequence chain for the pedals or does it matter?
I get the perfect sound through my Korg G3 processor – using crunch, through a Roland G-6 digital guitar sound system (delay + flanger + drive + chorus) .
Sublime tone
Billy says he uses two delays – a short one (from videos I've seen seems like just one repeat) and a "medium" one (his words) which are basically that 400ms you've used.
He also uses chorus on the Roland (so at the end of the signal chain).
you need a chorus dude!

I get a pretty good representation of this sound with my bridge P90, the other settings being more or less as specified here. I'm not questioning TG's advice, just adding my setting to the mix.
