  • A little Monday morning quarterback here but, you could use naphtha to remove that glue residue.

  • I think it looks great, besides, you can't teach experience. Keep on rockin!

  • Next time, seal the tape edge with a clear coat or the same color you're taping to first to seal the edge of the tape and you'll get laser sharp lines.

  • It looks fantastic, Ted! Paint and finishing is the hurdle I fear the most. I'll postpone that opportunity a little while longer. ???? I really think you are doing a great job. As always, I'm looking forward to more of your journey! Merry Christmas, Ted! I hope you and your loved ones all have a joy filled holiday! Cheers, my friend!

  • Scrape off that tape residue, oil your fretboard, polish your frets and call this one Christmas Dinner. This is your first try working on a broken neck and you've done great. (okay, maybe a little overboard with the tape, but that's just me taping a paper bag over the headstock instead of all that tape. DId I mention tape? lol ) Really fun adventure, Ted. And yeah, Rustoleum!!

  • Nothing wrong with that neck man. Looks great! The fret board fox as well! Yup seal it up, stick a fork in it and call it done! Haha
