  • Had three faulty cloud chorus pedals that did nothing at all, would find it difficult too buy this brand again????

  • I got one of these last week. While ease of use and touch screen is great, the sound I wasn't impressed with. Noise suppressor didn't do it's job very well.
But my main issue with was this strange artifact type sound. If I a note or chord then stopped playing there would be a strange kind of fizz/static sound. At low volume wasn't really noticeable but as soon as I got it up to a pleasant bedroom volume it made itself very apparent. It did it on stock presets, custom presets also. This was with overdriven amps.
Just to rule out my hardware being the issue, tried different cables, guitars, and outlets. Same exact result everytime.
If I tried using that at live volumes think I'd have some upset listeners and band mates.
I'm working on returning/ refunding thru their website but you have to contact them thru messaging, wait for reply, then wait for approval. Been 2 days so far waiting for approval. So far not a pleasant experience.

  • Hey can you get a nano cortex and a valeton and a Mooer and a tone x for a big comparison video

  • Is this just an OEM Mooer or Hotone? It's certainly far from being a Cortex killer. Soundwise its similar to most Chinese pedals like the NUX, Hotone Ampro and Mooer. I don't find touch screens useful. More gimmick with cheaper pedals as the response is usually very poor requiring multiple prods. Good review though.

  • Hi Jonny, what a fantastic piece of kit. £300 is a great price when you think of everything that you get. I need to get the Gibson paid for then start saving for one of these to do it justice. Love it.

  • ±sonicake have been hitting it out the field with some of the products that are putting out lately. I got a 5 way gang by sonicate and its been virtually noise free

  • Thanks for that! Another great video. I think that's worth a look for the audio interface alone.

Do any of the distortions sound like a Rude Mouse RAT copy?

  • Nice home recording unit that you can gig with, too! A little expensive, but look at pro level anything and it's almost double the cost of this one. I have the Twiggy Blues and an Octaver from Sonicake. Solid and dependable with their own power supply. Sweet!
