  • Great video that shows what this amp can do that others can't. Had the HA 3500 for 7 years as my main amp through a Markbass 410, never let me down always sounded great. I decided to sell it last year to use my Markbass 800 head, totally regretted it! I could never get the same sound as the Hartke. Sold my Markbass gear and a few amps/cabs/combo's later trying to get "that" sound, got rid of everything to get another HA 350 and 410 cab.

  • I had the same head and I played in a metal band and I played a bunch of shows with that head and I even played in bigger clubs but I had to crank the volume up to 8 for me to blend in . but overall it was a good amp and it could handle playing in any club . but the next head I get will be a 500 watt or maybe even the HA 3500 just so I can hit a little harder . but for the money you really cant go wrong with that head

  • I have 4 of these amps and they more than do the job for me. I play gigs at a small Auditorium. Most of the time I have to turn it down because I'm being mixed and boosted by a sound man at the mixing table in the back.I run through a pre amp so the bass amp settings and eq is always at neutral.

  • Thanks for your vid and info. Are you certain you don't have the A and B Pre-amp labels backwards? I just got one of these 2500 amps and I believe the manual said the left pre-amp control was for tube pre-amp and the right control was solid-state pre-amp. I think you labeled them the other way around. Also, I like this amp for my small bedroom music environment, but the damn cooling fan is ridiculously loud. I'm thinking of trying to replace mine with a quieter fan.

  • Nice thorough, detailed review.  I'm interested in the HA3500 but there aren't any in any of the music stores around here.  It seems like these amps are very good, simple but effective, which is what I am looking for.
