That's a stunning looking guitar – love how there's purple in the burst depending on the light. Nice. Sleek looking rock machine.
super nice!
Hi, hope you and yours are doing well, and thanks so much for doing this video. I know this video was posted two weeks ago, and here in the USA this guitar was on the Hils America website, but it's no longer in the lineup on that website any longer. I looked on the Anderton's website, and it appears there is just one HN7 in stock in Purple…the rest of the HN7 guitars that have the Fishman Fluence pickups are on a pre-order basis…I like the purple one, so may end up grabbing it…I'm going to be 64 years old this year (When I'm Sixty-Four…second song on side two of The Beatles Sgt Pepper's…had that album when I was 6 years old in 1967…hahaha!)…anyway, I'm in this cover band I've been in for about 11 years now, and many of our gigs are 4 hour shows, and my knees are crap, but I refuse to sit when playing in front of people…one reason is I just think it looks better, but even when I do solo acoustic shows, I stand, because I just feel like I have more support singing standing up than I do when I'm sitting down…I currently use a Music Man Silhouette that is a 24 fret guitar…it isn't way heavy, but for sure isn't a lightweight guitar…I'd love to have one of these Hils headless guitars, because they look like they are designed and build very well, plus they are very light weight for an. electric guitar…there are other headless guitars out there that are light, but many of the affordable ones do not have tremolos, and I use a tremolo on some of the songs we do…once again, thanks for taking the time to make and post this video!
how much custom fees did you pay ?
I did not see this guitar on the Hils website!
Do you have a link for this model?
Got the purple one from Anderson’s a couple of days after Xmas and it’s great. I had to level the Frets a bit(like most new guitars)but now it plays great the trem seems as solid as any Floyd I’ve got but it’s got 4 springs I think I’ll take one out on the next string change.
That's a beautiful guitar! My HN4 comes in less than a month and I'm very excited.
Would love to see a breakdown of the tremolo?
Amazing! Can you make a video where you play it and show us the different sounds with the Fishman Fluence Modern?
Thanks for posting this!! I haven't seen too many other videos (besides Andertons) outside of Korea on the HN7. According to the HILS America site, it looks like both finishes of HN7 are wait-listed, so Andertons may be the only dealer in the west that even has any in stock. I thought the HN7 finishes were too dark and the guitar, in general, too much of a mystery not being able to try it first so I ordered an HN5 that's due to arrive early-mid February (I'm in the USA). I have an Ibanez Q52 LBM but I really want one with a trem, which doesn't seem to be happening any time soon, if at all. The HN7 is heavier than the HN3? Interesting. A sound demo of the guitar would be great!! Rock on!
Nice looking guitar. On the first Hils video you showed a Ibanez Quest. Which is the best specked guitar.
Really nice mate. Do you prefer HN3 to HN7 also what's the different between the Headrush and Tone Master Pro
How does their custom tremolo system compare to a Floyd Rose 1000 or 1500 series as far as tuning stability goes? Can you expect to return back to perfect pitch after dive bombs etc?
Cool guitar, congrats! Great video! ???? Happy New Year, lots of health and happiness in 2025!
