  • My first real guitar was an LP custom by Ibanez from 1972, these are the lawsuit ones. She was like a dream. I bought it from a sailor and he bought it in Japan. By the way, I'm from Croatia (former Yugoslavia) and I've been playing the guitar for 53 years. Unfortunately, I no longer have the Ibanez, but I do have a Matsumoku Japan Black Beauty with new bridge tuners and Di Marzio humbacks. Plays like butter. I have 7 el and 4 acoustic. 3 guitar is Cort and exrlent guitar made in Korea not Indonesia but indonesia guitars is old Ibanez machine made. That is why they are not to be underestimated.

  • Justin! Buddy! Really love the guitar, I really dig the cut out for the hand, great smooth tone, BUT… what you didn't mention is the price. lol. And BirdYoumans is totally right, you could make anything sound awesome. Thanks for sharing your review with us.

  • It's the player, not the guitar…JJ could make shit on a stick sound great

  • What can be said is that, for the price, this guitar can easily be the only one a singer/player needs, that anyone used to steel string flat-tops would find it adequate.

  • Cort have been making quality guitars since the late 60s. They have been producing guitars for top names, Ibanez – Fender and many more. A well kept secret in the guitar world, and are the largest guitar manufacturers in the world. The well respected RICHARDS GUITARS talk about this on his web site blogs.

  • I saw in the specifications that it has a doublelock neck joint. I was wondering how this works. Is the dovetail glued in or not? Is it just screwed in by one screw or more screws?

  • As others have said, guy is so good….huge hands….etc. that it's difficult to say how good a guitar is…

  • I have the Cort Pro Custom acoustic which I was debating on cutting into the Kona wood to convert it to CE, but now I'm going to check out the Cort Gold Edge thanks to your review, Justin. I have always liked your Slide guitar riffs/JJ

  • ☑️ super inspiring just a great review of an awesome acoustic ????‼️ so I was looking around town (you tube) last cpl months or so for an inexpensive acoustic electric OM or GA , and focused on the two D'angelico XT models _until I noticed Cort in the price range , the OC6 and A8 models ; then saw this review , ate up everything I could find on the Edge , finally decided I would dish out a few extra bucks and ordered this model …I believe I will have zero regrets ????‼️???? ???? ???? ????

  • I bought a cort last week in a pawn shop. Shallow body. To test how good it was, I sang into the hole and found the body to resonate in the pitch of C. Brilliant. Resonance lasts 30 seconds

  • What's that song at the start? Where can I learn that picking pattern short of deconstructing this video?
