Great video. A lot of people don’t know their past drummer Chad Channing came up with many of the drum parts for Nevermind, Dave kept some of his parts. It was Chad who came up with the In Bloom intro
Just the cute lil "and im dave"
Lowkey wanna see how the smashing pumpkins 1979 was made
Love the video Harry. Nice editing.
how are you getting these project files from these songs lol
Nevermind is definitely their worst record.
I’ve always loved the swirling chaos of the guitar solo, but with this unmatched ear for melody Kurt had. The small bends and vibrato give it this feeling like he’s singing through the guitar.
People say that rock is dead when literally there are like at least 250 people i know that like it
Kurt use a fender twin reverb amp and a fender mustang competition for “smells like teen spirit” ????
why are you using the weird al clip?
Awesome vid

Yo. Grewat video Harry!
Can you do a dive on "in Bloom" please and talk about the guitar tones for the verses, prechorus,, and solo?
we need another kurt cobain type figure to just flip the music industry on its head again. i think the general public is starting to get tired of rap and candy pop radio music. wherever you are future kurt, we need you
Dave sounded like a girl
WE NEED MORE OF THIS
polly dark song
Again, another amazing analysis, with spot on takes and a very good paced explanation.
As much as i love that song, it is also a "curse", as only God knows how many kids in school would try and fail playing it, cause it was seen as an easy and simple song to, you know, get girls.
I used to play and cover Nirvana a lot when i still had a band, and man… this song brings back memories.
Keep on the series and good content, man!
Loving your new "How…" series Harry. Hope it becomes a regular thing !
EDIT – Can you do something by The Skids ?
This was my first CD ever. My brother bought it for me when it came out when I was 11. In Bloom was my favorite.
Hey Harry! Im surprised at how close you got to the distorted tone with the ac30. Apparently they used vintage pulsonic greenbacks which arent even produced anymore. Good vid!
More Videos of this style… ❤
