  • Power is really not an issue in the UK, although you get what you pay for with regards to a daisy chain

  • By the time people figure this stuff out they become geniuses , now I have the confidence to be a rocket scientist working at Elon Musk

  • What is the exact order/sequence to connect a Korg G3 multi effects pedal to a pedalboard that includes a compression, whammy, octave, EQ and a noise gate pedal? I will be using overdrive and delay on the Korg. My amp has an effects loop. I've tried multiple combinations and still stuck. TIA.

  • Very nice introduction. But… the Zuma is bit lazy. Can't always support the 500mA. My Kaluna tube-overdrive is moaning. the TheGigRig GenX14 should be good. greetings

  • To me all the information in the video is instantly dismissible if you are going to hold up the power supply which clearly states other voltages on on it & claim it only supports 9 volts.

  • You look like the heat miser????. Everything that he touch… Starts to melt in his clutch. He's TOO MUCH.

  • looks tooooo much complicated i will better buy processor multi effects those new ones sonicake 200$ nothing beats that i have 10 pedals which i don't use 8

  • What types of cables would you use? I invested quite a lot in Lava cables but had a lot of reliability issues after a year…

  • My pedal board looks like Neil Peart’s drum kit. I have to have a crane to drop me the ‘The Tone Pit’ (as the cops and firefighters call it) anytime I want to practice playing basic chords. I’ve only been playing for 2 weeks.

  • What if you plug a 9v 100mA into a 9v 500mA power? Is that extra amperage going to damage the pedal?

  • The Voodoo Lab Pedal power 2 plus has 8 little switches on the bottom, and if you flick them the outlets provide 12 volts instead of 9. So it would work fine on your board with the eventide and 12 volt pedals.

  • for someone that had only used digital effect-boards over the years this video was really helpful. just customized my first proper pedal-board today^^ thanks

  • I’m a new/former player. Serious this time, taking lessons and invested $10K in guitars alone this year, I love it now.

Question: Modeling Amps vs Real Amp. I have 1 of each. Is it pointless to start a Pedal collection in 2023? It seems I can buy a pedal board loaded w/ effects and plug into my Marshall vs a bunch of sloppy pedals/wires.

  • You don’t need an expensive power supply the 1 Spot is designed to do what it does without unwanted noise unless you have 10 pedals then a power supply might be for you

  • I used a boss overdrive. Own a flanger. Basically a novice at electric guitar. Still mastering the almighty muted string playing. I love to play grunge, rock blues, reggae, r&b. What would you recommend for me to get started??

  • My favorite Casio uses negative polarity, and I've seen so many of them being sold as non-functional.

  • (Sorry,is long)
    My plans for the future:
    Amp+Cabinet:
Mesa JP2C (or any Mark series) with 1×12 mesa cabinet

    Now pedals (outside pedalboard/controlling manually):
Two G1Xon,one for tuner and control the amount of input gain and the other to Whammy (down),Octave,Phaser,Swell,Eq,etc….
    1 Whammy
    1 Wah

In pedalboard and controlled by a switcher
    Drop Digitech
    Acoustic Sim
    Noise Supressor
    Tube Screamer
    Distortion

And a Valeton GP200 outside pedalboard, but being controlled and in the FX Loop of the amp, just for the 5 Band Graph EQ,Compressor,Pitch Shiter (Kind of 12 strings sim),Chorus,Delay,Reverb

So the signal goes: Guitar > 2 G1Xon > Whammy > Wah > Input of the switcher > pedalboard with all pedals in the switcher > JP2C with the channels controlled as well > Valeton in FX Loop > Cabinet

    The patches:
Clean Channel: Acoustic > Valeton (EQ,Comp,Pitch,Chorus,Delay,Reverb)

Clean Channel: Distortion > Valeton (EQ,Comp,Delay,Reverb)

Crunch Channel: Noise Supressor > Tube Screamer > Valeton (Comp)

Lead Channel: Noise Sup. > Tube Screamer > Valeton (Comp,Delay,Reverb)

My problem is… I want a switcher that will be able to control all 3 channels,my pedals and the Valeton, with at least 8 banks so I can use the Drop in 2-8 banks, here in Brazil we have a switcher like this, with banks, four switchers for each bank, but there's no much info about it,idk how powerfull it is,if can control more than two channels, etc…. so,can anyone help me solve this problem? :v

  • I too have been guilty of building a monsterously oversized pedal board and have use both the Voodoo Labs power supplies and the Strymon Zuma. Both were great but if you're gonna be using Eventide and or Strymon pedals that Zuma is just the best option out there. Great informative video! I enjoy all of your content.

  • My setup is really simple. I have a looper a EVH overdrive, a Classic chorous and a vintage delay. My amp is a Fender hot rod Deluxe 3. It has a effects loop in it. However since I only have 4 pedals do I have to use the effects loop on the amp? Or do I split them? I am going to get a wah pedal

  • I dont have any problem with 1spot daisy chain. No issues, zero noise with 5 different pedals from 4 brands.

  • I am a giging guitarist, I am so I have to buy a looper also? Does looper comes as seperate unit?
