  • Is there anyway I can buy that green Princeton reverb from you? That’s the color I’ve been looking for and I can’t find it anywhere

  • I remember hearing a story that that radio station thing happened to one of Tom Morello's petals on sleep now in the fire. You can hear the station at the very end of the song the left a little bit of it in there.

  • I just bought a joyo 44000mAh rechargeable pedal power supply for busking. That paired with my boss cube, I can play anywhere for up to 5 hours, no power plug needed. It is truly amazing.

  • Its powercable crossing a patchcable. Redirect if they must touch one another and the radiosignal will be cancelled out????????

  • What does a compression pedal do at the beginning of the pedalboard? I usually put mine at the end as an attenuator. I’m new to guitars. Thanks

  • Visiting "Nerdville" is like being inside the Millenium Falcon while perhaps also flying through an asteroid field. Next "Nerdville" episode: How to build Ham Radio into your pedalboard.

  • For anyone wondering why they could hear radio frequencies:

They setup their power cables and signal cable(s) parallel to each other.

The magnetic field around a wire with electricity is normal to the current, around it counter clockwise to it's direction. If you place a signal cable that us also normal to that magnetic field, it will begin to pick up radio frequencies (anywhere from 3kHz to 300GHz).

    Especially, they made an antenna.

How to avoid this? Simple, run cables perpendicular to each other so the signal wires are unaffected by the magnetic field of the power wires.

  • I believe in the sweetwater pedal board video they mention that if you run your power and pedal cables parallel with each other on your board, it creates an antenna.
