Thank God i found your Channel
This is Amazing that you take the time to do this ( Free Lesson ) AMAZING Steve Bravo ! Thank you ????????????????????????????????????????????
very helpful, Thank you
THANK YOU :D????????????
I need help here. My wrist does not want to turn completely flat to where I’m able to hold the neck. It’s an issue I have had my whole life. Is there any suggestion?
What if you're lefty
I recently got a smaller guitar and I wasn't sure how to hold it. Your tips on pulling the guitar in, and swinging the neck out a little have been a great help. I have also removed everything from my right pocket, which has also been helpful on placement. Cheers .
Is under my arm supposed to be sore? Like the part that sits on the top of the guitar?
Thank you so much
Guitar being the first instrument i am trying to play is probably not a good idea, definitely harder than i first thought ????
Thank you. I'm starting from 0. I just bought an acoustic guitar. Don't even know how to hold it so thank you. I'll subscribe and follow your playlist. Thank you very much.
Thanks a lot I got a guitar tday!!
this is 2023, i have had 3 tutors tha i payed for lessons to learn the guitar. i am 62 so i have issue as we do as we get older. my bitch is this ! 1 year of learning the guitar, still crappy at it, but that's fine with me. what annoys me is when you payed for proffessional lesson through music schools, so far 3 of them, not one has mentioned my errors in holding the guitar body, now become a habbit that i have to break from, hence watching your video. i have a issue with holding the neck with my thumb way to tight, the reason is that i end up with the neck getting pushed away from my body. today the tutor when i mentioned this to him he then maybe i was holding the body of the guitar wrong, hence the hand was creeping more and more over the neck and away from the sound hole. gee great that hew finally picked this up, only took 15 months to find it and the fact i had to point out the problem to the tutor. so many other issue i can see my self with bad habbits formed and bad training from tutors that have never, not one of them ever pointed out thease issues. wow i good have been a very differant player today and not still on the beginner stage with now bad habbits that i need to break out of. ps laast lesson was today and the last one there. looking for another tutor again. frustrated, you could say, all the money for tutors wasted to this point. well lets hope that the next one is far better. thankyou for confirming my bad habbit issues. now i need to take my self back to the very beggining baic to retrain myself.
Steve, u got my respect
Thank you so much 🙂 my guitar teacher never told me how to hold it correctly, so i’ve always had a lot of tension in my right arm. But this video fixed that ❤
Welldone Mr Steve… Thank You so much
I play guitar for 30 years.
I have my guitar on my leg and lay my right am on top and my right arm pushes the guitar body around so the guitar neck is always in movement.
I couldn't fix it in 30 years.
My left hand is always searching for the strings because the neck moves like a spoon in the soup because of my right arm pushing on the guitar body.
First, I am LOVING this playlist. You are very patient and it is great for beginners like me! So, I bought this acoustic guitar and it feels GIANT. I am 5'2". Will I get used to this? Is this normal? Should I have gotten a ukelele instead? I'm kidding, but I feel like I cannot hold this guitar all cool and casual like Steve.
I just bought a guitar, and i just want to thank you for the clear explanation,I’m looking forward to playing my first song ????
Thank you sir????????????
Thanks.
thats what FUNDAMENTAL, so many people belittle this, and the result is, put weight on left hand, so that CANNOT dancing over the fretboard ????
soo many thanks for this lesson????
nice
Effective teaching — simple, sequential approach; clear descriptions; repetition of concepts; explanation for understanding — "why we do it this way".
This deserves way more view. What a great teacher you are sir, thank you!
Yup, this is a great guitar learning channel, I am recommending this to my friend who also wants to learn guitar in order like me! ???? I subbed
Liked, Subscribed, I love it Thanks!
Steve, you read my mind on the lack of organized lesson playlists on YouTube. This is a great resource for beginners–even getting into differences between acoustic and electric, etc. Nice job.
I am predominantly left handed but I bought a right handed acoustic guitar . .I am more comfortable playing it left handed ,,but since I have just started out,i was thinking if i should force myself to hold it right handed?
Thanks Steve! All the positioning info is very helpful. A lot of teachers take for granted that we already know these relatively simple things… 🙂
Woah!????????
