How to make an electric bass sound like an acoustic bass!

  • You should try flatwound bass strings. They really help trick the ears because of how much warmer they are. Nice job with the mutes. I have a Rick bass that I play and it’s fun to play with mutes. I also have a fender kingman acoustic bass guitar. That when mic’d up blended with the DI tone from the piezo pickup also does a good job tricking the ear.
