I learned this very quickly. Thank you!
Well done . Started in under 30 secs and you showed the chord diagram. That’s the way to do it . Refreshing .
It was fun to learn and play. Thanks.
This is excellent. I just listened to and wrote the tabs according to Sting's guitarist Dominic Miller and its totally different! Starts on D7….confusing, but realise you ar taking from Stan Get's version..not sure what he's doing!
Great class. Many thanks!
thanks sir !
Bravo????
This is a great lesson. Something I find interesting from the recording is that on instrumental sections the guitar follows the rhythm pattern (1 | 3 and 4), but when the voice comes in the rhythm pattern changes slightly.
Very nice lesson, but what you teach doesn't correspond to the PDF provided. Part A corresponds ok, but then you depart into something quite different and I daresay simpler, which is fine with me. I had to get out my chord stamp and write out the rest of what you do. Can I actually sing the song along with this? That I'll have to see.
thank you so much for this!! super helpful
Woah I’ve always felt this was so hard but you make it so simple. I can finally play this! Thank you!!
I’ve been playing guitar since the late 60s. Mostly rock, pop, and country. This style is a new challenge! Lots of new chord shapes… I WILL get this! Great lesson – THANKS!
I have been playing for only a month but, every bossa nova song comes so easy to me like they are inside my brain, maybe its because I've listened to them a million times or maybe because they match with the greek rhythm in music( l am greek) but, anyways thank you so much sir for teaching such a beautiful piece
Great lesson. It would be nice to hear you play the version at the correct speed though.
Thank you for this lesson. Very helpful.
thanks for the lesson i enjoyd it
Great lesson!!!!!
Super????????
Thank you! Very clear and linear!! Really useful!
Really Smooth. Thank you… I was a musician in my youth. Last year, I picked up guitar and started to explore this beautiful instrument. I play five minutes each day which turns into an hour or more. Bossa Nova is attainable for even me as a beginner. So good.
Thank you
Fabulous lesson Michael. Thank you!❤
Thanks for the lesson. Now I can do it!!
Great very clear
Thank you for the lesson! I know these lessons take a lot of time and effort… so thank you.????
Thank you for explaining it step by step, well done!
So it took me about 3 months but I got it down and can sing along English version…working on portuguese lyrics now…..thank you for this great tutorial!
Very nice
Is that a Dorado Guitar?
Tough one!
Great tutorial, it will take me a few weeks but is now in sight…thank you!
Très bonne explication
loved this, so easy. Tks for sharing ! Abraço !
Thank you very much, everything is simple, accessible and clear. ????????????
???????? really cool , new fan
Great video! Thanks for your wisdom!????
thank's for the great lesson. I think that the Ab9 actually is a A-7, I distinctly hear a natural C (minor third) in the album version, and there is also a A7#5 after the D-7 the second time. Let me know what you think
You make relatively complex music seem relatively straightforward!
The chord change on the 'and' of 4 is so characteristic of Bossa, and particularly of this tune.
Great teaching, and very nice playing too.
Thanks!
Wonderful .Felicitaciones desde Lima -Perú .Gracias por compartir.
Very nice chords. Thank you for sharing. You may want to check out my version of "Corcovado" here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p6boki6Hr08 Aloha from Hawaii. Gilberto.
Thank you so much for sharing.
Hi vert pleasant to hear you
Great lesson. Thanks.
Thanks for the lesson, this is the base patern but not enouth for playing interesting guitar part
This is great! I had the chart of these chords from years ago and seem to have lost it. Here it is – the most simplified version I’ve come across. Love the way you don’t waste time with ‘…now put your little finger on the blah, blah blah string of the fourth fret…’ etc. keep ‘em coming Dude and I’ll be back!
Thanks!
Excellent! Or should I say muinto bon!
Thank you for displaying the chords out so clearly. Now there is no excuse! My problem is not the strumming rhythm it is which chords to use.
