Beautiful sound….What amplifier and mic did you use?
One of the most beautiful song Sting ever wrote and yours Tutorials are simply the best on Tube. Thanks.
thank you for this gift I re discoverd this amazing song thanks a lot the drop sonds very nice on my old
strat
It's not in the standard tuning, right?
I'm new to your channel and I am blown away. Do you have any solo acoustic instrumental albums out? Any albums?
Can anyone tell me how to produce this kind of sound of the guitar?
Love your arrangement, even better than the original voice version. Great tune, easy to learn. What else ?
Very good.
This guitar is fabulous. What is it?
❤ this arrangement of a great song! Thank you for the detailed lesson!
you are the o ly one who i donate to man, you did a great job!
Thank you so much for all your lessons! If you are looking for a song for another lesson maybe you consider one day "Do You Want Me" by Dominic Miller. I think it is a great song and there is no real tutorial on YT. Anyway, thanks again and best wishes.
Also nice to end with a high traid with full strum 6 – 12, 5 -10, 4 – 11
Your channel is called shut up and play and at the same time you use so much time to explain useless things. Yoy smash the hole rythm and as a student you just don't get the fraces in a flow. Why can't you just brake up the song in adequate fraces in a suitable rythm and take in from there? I get so frustrated when you play the song in total at the end and your playing just don't mach the smashed fraces you have taught us.
Beautiful!
so pretty with just the guitar
Beautiful
Thank you all for bringing more beautiful music into the world.
Beautiful arrangement ????
Veri good, detailed ! 0:19
I love the sound you are getting. How are you recording this? Are you recording into your Daw direct? or do you have a mic out of view? With headphones on I can hear you have something reverberating in the background. It is very subtle, but it is there. Thanks!
What a beautiful arrangement. The song by its author was lovely, but – for me – this instrumental, when played as perfectly as you always do, is far more compelling than the version with words. Though it is moderately difficult to learn and play – it is infinitely more so, to play well. What a gift…….. as always……… absolutely lovely…. wish i'd found it sooner…
Simply beautiful Andy. I know you posted this 2 years ago, but I'm watching it on New Year's Eve, 2022, and I wish you a very healthy, happy, and prosperous New Year ahead in 2023.
I've always loved this song. Eva Cassidy did a version that is great. Yours is fantastic!
Without having a guitar in my lap right now & listening to you …I’m not sure I care for the high E ringing out like that…but that’s just me.
I always use my Boss GE-6 pedal to tone down the E & B strings.. for some reason my ear hears them ringing out way more loud than I care for…Great video as always Andy…you’ve been an incredible inspiration.✌️
Beautiful!
Great song and great your interpretation. Amazing armony! I am going to learn this song with my guitar by your tutorial. Thank you ????
I’m going to have this on repeat. Just got my first guitar. I can’t play anything. I love this song. You did it so well.
Oh my. ! What a beautiful arrangement!! Right now… This is the one for me. Thank you so much!!!
Merci mon ami, this song is a legacy from my past. I was deeply in love with a woman who chose a rich man over me. We remained close, as secret lovers do. When she did get married she asked me to be Master of Ceremonies to which I readily agreed. I was responsible for music selection and I had the last dance. I chose Fields of Gold as it had meant a lot to both of us. “you’ll remember me….”
As we danced she whispered in my ear, with a smile, “you’re a bastard.” And so it was 26 years ago that I said goodbye.
I am an accomplished guitarist but now that I have learned this so delicately I can let the ghost haunting begin. Thank you for reaching into my past and allowing me to express a love so long suppressed.
Thank you. KM
Very nice,thanks for lesson!
Every time I hear this song, it reminds me of the girl who broke my heart. I still
remember listening to this and thinking about her. This was beautiful thank you
Thank you so much for the lesson. One of my all-time favorite songs. Great arrangement and easy to follow. Thanks again.
STUPENDA esecuzione !!!! Bravissimo
lindo
This is just a hypnotic arrangement, Andy. Thank you.
Thanks Andy. Hope your feeling better. My "go-to" YouTube guitar teacher!
Absolutely Fantastic so good
I tried playing the first bit where you have to go D5 and G2, and I've come to the decision that I need to purchase a bigger set of hands.
I think that perfect sound comes from a great guitar player and a Taylor.
My favorite of his too. Beautiful job as usual.
This is awesome ???? please put the Tab on your website so I can donate. Thx ????
Beathiful Man ????????????❤️
Great Job as usual Andy,it such a joy to listen to your playing and attempt to somewhere near your level of playing.
Is there a way to still purchase the tab for this lesson? I am trying to learn, so I can play it for my mom before she passes and eventually at her funeral.
You are genius and thanks!
I'm an advanced player. BEST lessons I've run across by far and I've sampled a LOT. All visual. No tabs. Most importantly, no USELESS chatter. What verbal instruction there is, is concise, relevant, boiled down and to the point. BTW, this rendition is beautifully done. Nice work , Shut up!
Beautiful!! What model is your Taylor. I would like to purchase one but they all sound so good when you play them.
