  • Love it! Not overly complicated just need to practice! I too just started playing after many years. Finally got my calluses back.

  • I like watching tutorials. Maybe one day I'll pick up my guitar and actually play along. Have to say this one is very very good. Thank you for doing this.

  • Great tutorial. Thanks for not naming every fret, note and string. Oh, yeah, and the dreaded "Up, down, up, up, down, down, up, down…". LOL!

  • Thanx for this fantastic Lesson. Especially for the pre-Solo Part! I found a lot of bullshit therefore. Best regards, Rainer

  • Starting over after 24 years… any way to play those barre chords WITH NOT actually playing them? (Altermate fingerings, please, kind sir!?) Thanks! Ps; outstanding job!

  • Happy new year, Andy! Glad to get your mailing that pointed me here. I was a college freshman in 1976 when this song was released, and first heard it on my newfangled FM stereo radio 🙂 I must have listened to the song 1000 times since, and never really thought about the fact that so much of it is played on an acoustic. I'll have to give it a go. You said somewhere in the break between the demonstration and the lesson that you would be putting together something for the lead electric parts. I don't see it on your web site, so I take it you never got around to it. Any chance you might? I'm mainly an acoustic player, but it would make a great duo with an acoustic and electric played together live.
