Nice job .Clapton defenatly a jerk though cerial wife Steeler????
The vibrato adds such emotion to an already beautiful song. Great job Marty!
That was wonderful! ???? thanks Marty ????
Any idea how many guitar 'Tubers get the lick wrong by skipping that 7th fret G string note entirely?! Lots. Started thinking I was loosing my mind when I began learning this song a couple weeks ago; like maybe I was remembering something that wasn't actually there? Marty's chord voicings are better than most of theirs, too. But also, I expect these skills from a fellow EVH fan, lol.
Slow hand had that slow vibrato, I always try to get that slow vibe!
Nice! I definitely need practice on vibrato. Funny that people think this is a love song when it isn't. Clapton said it was a night of complete exasperation when his wife kept changing her outfit and asking, "do I look okay in this?" (yes, you look wonderful tonight – now can we go?), making them late for some event or commitment. That he turned that frustration into something so soulful is the real beauty of the song.
A song for the crowd! Thanks Marty.
