OH MY GOD THANK YOU SO MUCH! I'VE LITERALY JUST STARTED 2 DAYS AGO AND FELT LIKE GIVING UP BECAUSE OF MUFFLED/MUTED STRINGS AND YOUR "Keep your fingers close to the frets" HAS SOLVED IT
Please high pass your audio. The trucks driving by are shaking my room.
am still getting muted
I'm getting the buzzing but I don't have any fingers on the string
While practicing my guitar, it sounds clear but the moment I start practicing chords, my fingers just mutes other strings.
thank you so much man, you were a ton of help, i'm a beginner guitar player
I don't know what I'm doing wrong but whenever I press the string it doesn't make a sound ???? please tell me what I'm doing wrong ????????
This is what I want out of YouTube, thanks for the help!
It does not work at all
Okay so I am specifically having this problem with the d minor chord, I the paddedness of my ring fingertip mutes the bottom e string even when I’m using proper placement … idk what to do lol it’s like it’s just not skinny enough or there isn’t enough space between the guitar strings for my finger to fit ???????? any help??
THANK YOU SO MUCH I was about to give up. The tutorial ended and it was still muted. I was actually going to cry. Then I kept my finger next to the fret like you said AND IT ACTUALLY WORKED FHDHSIFBHIDFFBHIREFFBIHREFNHIREFNHIREFFNIHERFNIHE. The mistake I was doing was putting it in the middle.
My palm keeps muting the high e string
I'm currently learning guitar, and this might come in handy
Trying to play a simple chord progression such as Am C D is a nightmare because I keep buzzing and muting (espacially D, I don't know why)
Yeah no I do it and it still buzzes and mutes absolutely no matter how I do it. Clearly doing it correctly and it’s not working
Shalom. Happy New Year! Nice.
honestly i thought the frets were in the middle of the lines ????
1:12 I HAVE ACRYLICS ON I’M STRUGGLING HERE
This was so helpful!! Thank you!
Absolutely brilliant video ????
you started right away im subbing and liking I dont ever do this
It didn't help me at all. My fingers must be too big because I've tried everything and I always mute a chord by accident. I especially hate the c chord.
THANK YOU. That annoying buzzing sound haunted me until i found this videa
I have naturally longer nails so when I do get the proper placement the string is right under my finger nail where it statches to my finger, so it feels like my finger nail is getting peeled off.

Please marry me
No pain no gain ???? sabka katega
Mera mtlb ungli ????
That helped so much, thank you, also what guitar are you using. It is beautiful.
Super helpful!! Never seen a video recommending the finger placement next to the fret!! Instantly improved my playing hugely!
THANKS.
Hi I have a question. While I always change the chords when playing the guitar, be it from chord to other chord or with tabs, after I release my finger the tones come always out. What is that about? Because I'm pushing too hard? I mean I have to press a little hard to get the tones out, but when I want to switch to another chord, the sound from the one played before still comes out. For this reason the song doesn't sound like it should be played. Can you help me out?????
Hey! Whenever I lift up my fingers to switch chords, the music blocks out and you can hear the strings play so it stops the chord I played. I don't know if that makes sense but I'm not sure how to avoid it.
How do I not mute the strings when playing chords? I have no issue with individual notes, its when I play chords
cheers man! was legit about to smash my head in with my guitar bc I didn't know why my strings were doing that annoying buzz sound XD turns out it was my playing!
Thank you so much for this tip sir. But I am facing yet another problem. I've got the right amount of pressure on the strings but when I'm pressing 3 strings at the same time, i cant seem to press all three of them with right pressure at the same time. What should i do? I am at my 3rd day. Is there any exercise you might suggest?
Thanks
Doing that "claw* on my pinky is soo tense

MAN I LOVE YOU THANKS!
I've decided my fingers are just too chubby LOL
Great video.
Is that a Guild 1954 classical guitar behind your right shoulder? It looks just like the guitar I have. That's why I'm asking.
Thanks so much! This will help me feel less pain as Im starting out and I don't have calluses yet
Great Info ! Will be definitely giving this a go. Thanking you Robbbert from Melbourne Australia.
Keep your nails short helps a lot too ????
Thank you so much my problem was solved!
Ok but what if your fingers just cant bend that way when playing lets say an A chord
and your fat fingers are half-heartedly pressing down the other strings instead resulting in a mute
very helpful
