7:07 can someone explain this part for me? I have everything down minus this part because I don’t know how to play the seven on the high E if I have my finger on the low E already…????️????????️
Yay thank you
I'm Brazilian. An amateur guitarist. Although it doesn't make any difference, somehow, without explanation or intention, I feel grateful to know that you and your brilliant music exist. It breaks barriers! It breaks down social differences and removes, in some way, the limits that "irrationally" differentiate us as people and as a society…
I m a pp????
This is VERY helpful for trying to learn his feature on classical dragon!!! I’m so glad I remembered this video existed ????
Tim, its been over 10 years since we last saw each other. Beyond proud to see how far youve come dude, keep on keepin on????
You are one with the "VIBE of LIGHT."
Your energy has illuminated countless lives, inspiring a profound recognition of your existence as a LIVING LEGEND.
Tim is an awesome guitar player and thanks for helping the community. Thanks for mention of Tosin Abasi music lesson called Thump!
i will not lie, i havent seen videos or heard him speak. so when he talked it threw me for a loop cause i didnt expect a highish voice from him. but other than that awesome playing
Does anyone else have the weird problem of being able to move your pinky through index finger really fast, but struggles to do it from index to pinky? I can play down descending stuff very fast, but ascending stuff feels like I’m trying to ride a skateboard switch for the second time
I wish all tutorias were like this, not much editing and clickbait
Please release a whole instructional DVD or download ???? inspiring me to pick up the guitar again !
too hard i give up >.<
Theres people who can play but cant teach. People can teach but not play as well. But he can do both. learned very quickly through his clear instructions. His little pointers went a long way
Great musical Atude. The up and down thumb will take awhile.
I always wonder how many people who suck at guitar go straight to the comments to say “Easy”…
I just want to hear more of the beginning. Enchanting…
Probably a stupid question: but on all these vids using this technique, when using the plucking fingers are you using the pads of your fingers or using the nails of the fingers?
Thanks for this! Now I too, am a member of the red thumb club
Seriously though, this was very useful and helpful.
Use the Double thumb tecnique and do a double brush on each Finger Too! BE the next Nuno or something.
Spherical objects deep
ive been playing for a year and half and it took me maybe an hour bc of how he teaches, like he does it amazingly.
Such a generous tutorial
So you're saying you're a PP.. ok got it.
I can't do it yet, but I can follow his tutorial perfectly. I definitely want to see more guitar tutorials from Tim.
"Youre going to harmonic all these."
Sure i am, tim. Sure i am
wonderful to see a tutorial from such an accomplished player, looking forward to trying this out!
Do just transition already. Lmao I can't even take these videos serious.
for anyone wondering what the tab is called, it's called "Quintuplet Meditation"
Dang tim seems super cool. Didnt expect that
hehe my thumb is a pp
Greetings, Edward Scissor Fingers.
Here's your SITREP.
Thump and Fingerpick is what we do.
Tosin Abasi does it better than us.
I’m a slap bass player
I cried at 3:25 it's like an angel trying to help you cast a spell..
U look alpha gay????
oh formulas
i dont really use "trusty patterns" i learned ascending and descending intervals, greek modes, and roman numerals
then i make excercises out that trying to come up with different variations/arpeggios,
i try to do it while playing and not before or after trying to "write or think up" something cool sounding. i set up a progression and a rhythm and make absolute sure to get into a groove before trying to practice weird variations so that its all musically contextual
sorry you make fun videos but, this, and all the fans i meet playing goat or whatever just, sit there practicing techniques and gimmicks, but not the cut and dry stuff. making the songs sound hard, but not actually be too hard is kinda…….
enjoy adding beats to your music and being tik tok famous, i hope the turrets bops gets better soon,
remember, doesnt matter what you play, just get a hipster strumming pattern (what you call pattern i call basic, basic rhythm structure. 1 e and a 2 e and a etc
play only the e and the a while the band is going, if you cant do that stop sweep picking in your room lol
-theory obsessed bassist vs eruption spammer in a nutshell
"It's still doesn't feel natural" pfffttt yea right????
