  • I want to say, it´s just verry much more than an practice amp. O stage you can use it as a monitore, and conectet from the outputs into the PA, it works like a big tube ampliier. Only needing no microphone.

The Boos SD1 works pefekt with it. Also all the other pedal effekts.

Yes, a guitar, this little guy, some cables and you are ready to gig ????

  • Where's the hookup? I couldn't stay to the end, but I never saw how you plug into the amp. Or was the whole thing wireless?

  • Was looking for a good amp for acoustic guitar. Didn’t really touch on this. Any feedback on this amp for an acoustic?

  • When I listen to a guitarist or any other musician, I'm keen to hear music more than electronics. I can't get over the fact that half the sound we hear from electric instruments is nothing to do with musicianship.

  • This is the amp that got me back into guitar. Plug in a set of headphones and without annoying your neighbors, you can be Angus Young playing in a stadium, or Jason Mraz in a sound room.

  • According to all the reviews, this unit has an output of 15W with batteries and 30W with the power supply. Shall I experience a volume drop when I unplug the power supply? I hear no difference with my unit.

  • def sounds good inside hence practice amp, outside not so much lol can sound a bit boxy and small (obviously)

  • The stereo line outs sold me on this. Dont get Spark 40- sh-t units, unreliable, horrible customer service from Indian call center!

  • I have one to use the Line 6 G10T11 wireless — really great sound — this is so impressive!

  • Thx.
I have the old THR II and the new THR 30.
    Great amps.
Just i prefer sounds of the old one than the new one. Clean and lead are better imo. ????
The old plexi sound on the II rocks. The new one on THR30 less fan.
But the battery of the 30 is really cool. I use it as a bluetooth speaker too.

  • Look up Erino Yumiki for some great examples of this amp. She uses it almost exclusively, usually with a Strat in the clean setting.

  • This amp is cool but I prefer the Spark over this, any day. Both are great choices, though!

  • Still rocking my older THR10 and it's a solid keeper. Into my pair of powered Carvin PA speakers it's almost like cheating. I even bypass the entire preamp and plug my acoustic guitar into a Boss VE8 with a Shure SM58 and into the THRs aux input for solo acoustic shows. Technology blows me away sometimes…

  • Great review, great amp. You can also connect up a Looper pedal if you have one. There is no effects loop, but if your run a cable from an output channel to the pedal and get a 1/4" to 1/8" cable and run the pedal output back to the aux input, you can add looping. I love this amp, but one improvement would be an effects loop input/output.

  • I'm usually a little critical of the tones on this channel (too much high gain stuff) but this Demo was spot on! Great aging on the clean and crunch settings especially. Great taste of the tonal possibilities!

  • Bought the Black THR30II = Love it. I have never played so-much-guitar. It's always ( right there & ready to go ) = portable & Inspiring tones. Great Job Darrell ( as usual ). oNe LoVe from NYC
