  • The frets don't even go across the whole binding. Most Gibson's have fret nibs???

  • Darrell, you should review the new model, they discontinued this one. The new model looks like a semi-hollow version of an ESP LTD potbelly (PB-401, PB-500)

  • Hi Darrell … thanks so much for the review. Do you think the binding has lacquer on it therefore impermeable? I guess what I'm asking is …. do you think there is any way to tint the binding to make it a more "aged" as you suggested ti should be?

  • The good news here is that there are amazing cheap guitars available that you could only dream about 5 or 10 years ago. This also has to be putting brands on their toes. Customers want great fretwork!

  • I have never seen any guitar, that had their stainless steel frets rounded off, all others (even the expensive ones), I heard had to be trimmed down!

  • Darrell, can I have that EART Guitar? I have never owned a Guitar like that, because all I ever owned was stolen from me. I am a Disabled Army Veteran…????

  • I am probably being picky but why would they put “Love Rock” on the head stock? To me that’s corny as hell they should just have the EART like it is and leave it at that.. Which is sad because over all I was interested in this guitar but for me that “Love Rock” Wei TG ing just kills my interest.. Or if I still decide to buy one I will just sand it off.

  • I bought the Eart sg3 strat in satin sunburst finish. They call the color Virginia. I took some polishing compound and polished the body and it looks pretty slick. It brightened the color and gave it a gloss. It almost looks like a sienna burst. Will change the puckups soon but im diggin my Eart ymx-sg3!????

  • At 4;25, I don't have those issues on my Eart 335. No issues wIth the finish . I am totally happy with mine.

  • Cant find this guitar on the internet not even in the official EART website
    Is it still available?

  • I've heard that the fret height is quite low on these guitars. Can anyone tell my the fret height please?

  • Darryl – I love your channel, but I hate the heavy metal music you start it off with, it's very grating! Have you considered an alternative start to your terrific shows?

  • I think the white binding with the vintage finish looks very “Mel Bay D’angelico New Yorker”.

    It looks beautiful

  • 4:22– the EART frets are shorter than the Gibson's. They don't cover the entire width of the fretboard. On my EART GW2 (the lower end of the two headless models), they're short and of varying lengths. I'm new to electrics so not sure how important this is, but it looks weird once I noticed it.

  • Love Mine Huge Blues Rock Guitar USA Rep from China sold me out of the box . Easy setup and new 10s work well . I did not find any flaws and there's nothing on the headstock except EART . Pickups Alnico II ????

  • Hey Darryl it's 2 years later…
    How's that guitar holding up?

Can you do a 2-year later critique on the guitar and speak again about the manufacturer are they still using the same parts and QC quality and their guitar making?

How is there other models in comparison what is the company like overall making guitars and other prices still reasonable?

Do you think that would be worth doing another show on their company?

  • Thanks, I’m in the market for a semi-hollow, this looks like a fantastic option. Currently it’s running for $399 in the US.

  • started the guitar journey 6 months ago and have a yamaha fg800 acoustic…and I seem drawn to music like MISTY, georgia on my mind, etc. So I am exploring jazz guitars and wonder if the EART E-335 would be a good choice..now 399 on amazon. Thanks..

  • I'm 68 years old, I have had every name expensive guitar and I have sold the lot as there are so many of the low cost guitars have upped their game. I setup and repair guitars and have come to the conclusion that high end expensive guitar are just a waste of money. I have a few Harley Bentons that I have replaced Tuners, bridges, electrics and pups, they sound and play as good as any high end guitar, they also look really cool.

  • You need to remember the biggest guitar market in the World is in the US. This guitar would never be allowed in the US without the risk of litigation from Gibson. This is why you will not see it anytime soon selling new in retail stores in the US. This is why no one else will copy this when it uses any type of Gibson design because they will not be able to sell it in the US.

  • that ain't a Gibson but a Chinese knockoff…Real Gibson LP has bounded f-boards, but don't worry your channel is doing well
