  • some of the Tremonti models were way cheaper than the entry level SE a few years ago from what I remember

  • Almost bought it, but ended up buying a Chapman guitars ml3 pro traditional black. Really happy with it, but my dream is still to own a PRS guitar ❤

  • i lost all respect for PRS when i saw him compare the construction of solid body electric guitars to violins. what a idiot!!!

  • $500 is pretty much the bottom price of a brand new guitar thats even worth plugging in. That being said, the overall quality of an SE is due to PRS owning and overseeing quality control in the factory. They have higher standards even with their imports. It would be great to see a side by side with a $500 Epiphone and Fender. I am sure that the PRS will blow them away. BTW, most guitars aren't built to be strung with really heavy gauged strings and tuned down a step and a half, especially ones with shorter scales. Therefore, your intonation problem with the 6th string.

  • PRS IS THE MOST VALUE FOR YOU MONEY. IF YOU LIKE THE FEEL OF THE NECK THEY CAN’T BE BEAT.

  • Bought my first prs little over a year ago I've barely touched my other guitars since I'm absolutely impressed with it great sustain and harmonics very versatile good for all kinds of playing styles and tastes

  • Capitalism has lead to Cort producing Corts PRSs LTDs Jacksons and now Fenders among others Im sure…

  • If you have an intonation problems while playing near the nut, it's a nut intonation issue.
And / Or you put larger diameter strings on without widening nut slots, causing binding/tuning issues.
    Just my 2 cents.

  • A little tip to intonate the low C, you can do this by removing (or shortening) the low C saddle spring, this way you gain some extra space to intonate (or you can buy a shorter compatible saddle if you can find it). The pitch shifting can be because you put your standard set of strings you use for drop C on regular 25,5 scale on a shorter scale, making it more loose; try bigger strings and you will certainly solve the problem. Hope this help!

  • A large block doesn’t aid in flutter there is no mechanics that lead to that.

  • Paul is a guitar builder not a physicist …I guarantee he is wrong.

  • I have this model and the more expensive one this is based on. It's amzing how there wasn't much difference between the two. They squeezed a lot of qaulity into these model. Probably one of the best qaulity "beginner" guitars you can get.

  • It would be nice if you could try the SCHECTER OMEN ELITE-6, goes for the same price (maybe a bit less) and IMO it's a better guitar

  • Not a big fan, they are so overpriced. I really dont get all the hype. Played a few and they weren't amazing. The guitar has a squeal every time you stop playing it.

  • I can't speak to guitars because I play bass, but I'm old enough to remember when acrylic guitars were a thing. The tone wood thing is ???? ????

  • I had a PRS a few years back. Build quality was great. Didn't need too much of a set up. The thing I didn't like was the pickup voicing. The pickups sounded muddy and muffled. Thankfully Guitar Center takes returns. These guitars are not meant for metal.

  • awesome guitars but the sandblasted with swamp ash top sound better— they are used for ubder $400 ansd well worth it

  • We got one back in the 2017, it got sharp frets, but thats all, guitar still kicking and used almost every week

  • I have the custom 24 se tuned to drop c and yes it’s way better when blocking the trem. The quality of the guitar otherwise is awesome. Also the bridge pickup is like a more brutal JB.
