Me: Nice bass!
My Epiphone/GIbson fanboy instincts: "AyO iS tHaT a LeS PaUl?!?!?!?!?"
They single coils or hums?
Think this would work well for a beginner interested in reggae?
Great video with excellent audio! As nice as the cherry finish is on the back sides and neck, it would’ve been nice if they made the top cherry also. Apparently they don’t offer the AGB260 since you made this video two years ago. Despite the foam green color not being my favorite choice, this model I think has better and more versatile tone plus kicks more than the AGB200. Is the truss rod adjustment nut accessed at the headstock like a Gibson?
My tone knob does practically nothing at all.
Do you have the E string tuned down to D?? It is an octave below the fifth fret on the A string. What's with that?
Thanks to you and that 200 man that thing sounds so good, i ordered mine same color too can not wait to play it.
Wish you had played the AGB200 bridge pickup with a pick.
Why would one want to know the scale size on that thing?…..
FAR Superior to the Epiphone!!
I love the sound of the 200 the most but both basses sound pretty dam cool. Love the bass playing also.
What about feedback??
I feel the AGB200 having more bottom than the 260, am I wrong?
Nice comprehensive review. Has anyone tried flatwounds on the 200? I'd be very interested to hear what that sounds like
Very good review thanks
it seems the AGB260 no longer exists. Pity, it was an interesting contrast to the 200.
I’m considering getting one of these to set up for ADGC. Should work really well with the 30 inch scale length.
You forgot to mention that these have a shorter 30 inch scale ! According to the 2008 catalogue.
According to Sam Ash, in 2019, Ibanez switched to Lindenwood for the body. Probably cheaper than Maple.
Excellent review. Thank you for posting.
Great review, helps me decide if I want it. Haha Thanks!
I would not call the neck on mine skinny. Not huge either. But definitely not skinny.
And “very, very light” in my case is 8 Lbs. not heavy, but definitely not “ very very light”.
I really like the thing. I’m going to put flatwound strings on it.
The 200 model tone is amazing it would be perfect for soloing
