This is a deep dive in the Ibanez Jem. The Jem is a special guitar in the line up developed by Steve Vai. The Jem we are looking at is a jem 7v and is from the 2010s era. There are some lovely adornments to the guitar to make it a real effortless guitar to play!

  • That Jem7VWH is a 2005-2009 model because it is fitted with the Edge Pro Tremolo and the 5-piece neck. You can tell the exact production year by checking the first two digits of the Serial Number (S/N). The S/N should start with Letter "F" (for the Fujigen factory in Japan). So, if your S/N starts "F07" then it's a 2007 guitar. FYI the image of the Trem you showed is an Edge Lo Pro (probably my favourite of the Edge Trems) and it's a "Jem" neck, which is a little thicker/different profile to the "Wizard"
