awesome review! ive been watching reviews for gear i want to get, and i love how u explain the guitar in depth. this guitar sounds much better than i imagined, based on the price, and ill definitely get it!
I got one of these for $20. Someone was selling out of there storage. It has acoustic strings, can I throw electric strings on it?
Damn! Tune the guitar dude.
I've the lefty.tcy10le.cheaper than the fender acoustasonic. Great looking.good tuning pegs.Great but in preamp and tuner.only downer plastic bridge and nut and all laminated. Only in black.twat to keep clean.Great plugged in.
How does it sound not plugged in?
Is it good to buy as first guitar?
how long is overall? normal size or closer to a 3/4s?
How was the action right out of the box compared to the Ashthorpe? I like the thin acoustic guitars & for the extra $150.00 being this is made in lefty it's something I'm interested in but it all depends on the action.
Awesome
Sounds a bit boxy.
Just bought this. Can someone out there help me dial it in? #loveandHUNDREDS
I have owned this guitar for a year now. It's okay if you put decent strings on it every damn week it doesn't sound too bad, but, it sounds very dull played unplugged and is definitely NOT a dreadnaught. It is a thin line so it has a thin sound. However, it was the only acoustic guitar at guitar center that stayed in tune while I tried it out. Even $1,000 dollar guitars would not stay in tune. I've owned several Ibanez guitars and for the price they're better than most. And they make great bass guitars as well.
Great Review I am Looking to change Pickups any Suggestion? Thanks Big Toe
I like that second one even more.
I always liked the offset body shape of these talmans,no neck dive by the looks of it, nothing cheap about the quality of Ibanez guitars, I own an Ibanez jet in sunburst and and absolutely love the thing, it's an offset electric with two humbuckers,I call it a sleeper guitar, I don't think it sold well, but it's a great guitar, check out some pictures,Google it, thanks for your video.
TY for the review. How do you think the TCY10 stacks up vs the Ashthorpe and other thinlines?
I just got mine. Sea-foam green. I love it.
Hi, sorry for the inconvenience, what number of strings do you put on your guitar? I would appreciate it, thank you for your help. Ibanez Talman TCY10 Acoustic-Electric Guitar Black
I've owned one of these for years, it's a nice guitar for the price but lacks the full bodied sound of an acoustic, but it's a slim line so it's no surprise. Only thing I would advise is to keep it stringed with light gauge strings, because it's impossible to play with heavy gauge strings.
Nice looking guitar!
This is great guitar, its compact and fun to play especially if you are learning. I have had it for like 6 years, and its at my old place in a different city. now I have bought a Taylor big baby as well. I am looking at this review coz I miss my first guitar.
This one or yamaha apx 600 please answer.
Great review, thank you very much!! I am looking forward on getting one of this guitars.
I am looking to get one of these guitars, but I am still undecided between one of these, a Yamaha APX600 or the Ovation Applause Elite AEDII-5.
Which one would you recommend?
thanks
How's the action on the Talman? Does it hold it's tune or do you have to retune it often?
Ive been looking for this review! Thanks man!
Fairly in depth review for a short video, thanks.
This is a good review. I enjoy the way you clearly explain the specifications. I have been looking at both the TCY10 and the TCM50 and this is the best review so far. Thank you for the upload.
