SRV would of been even bigger if he played more main stream rock. He made music that was basically "out of date" in the early 80s, but his pure talent drew people in. He introduced me to a style of music your average 8 year old kid wouldnt dig. He was and is the greatest in my lifetime. Period.
Thanks for all your videos i have learned a ton from you
I saw Stevie Ray Vaughan 11 times four times in one week in Detroit he sold out the Royal Oak Theater seven nights he is why I went to .011 Gage strings I couldn't do .012
Everyone talks about Hendrix but srv is and was best blues player ever sry Hendrix fans but just facts
Like Jimi ????????❤❤❤❤
That’s not an opinion that’s a fact
So was evhs
I think you've got better rhythm than SRV here pal.
Rip SRV
Dave Grohl talks about using guitar strings like kick/snare, for obvious reasons.
Yeah rock it
Harder than it looks. I practiced that for hours.
I like the lipstick pickups in the Strat . I saw SRV several times and he had a white custom Strat though not a Fender with lipstick pickups and it sounded great.
Dude Stevie Ray Vaughn is the BLUES GOAT!!! ????????????????????????
Well explained
Absolute one of a kind he is sorely missed????
The snare fall on your “kick” strum anyway
Undeniably ❤
Nice guitar. Great video.
Never seen a strat with lipstick pickups
The best can always shred both. SRV rhythm chops smooth like glass
Ya srv played rhythm along with lead, and kept perfect rhythm all around. Epic artist
❤❤
Sweet
Truth and amazing
Great vid! And Stevie did it with massive gauge stings right?
A point that truly matters ????
Great advice
Riviera paradise is one of my favorite songs
Loudest concert I've ever attended SRV 88????
Goatiest goat
That's why I call him Strummy Ray
He was a great rhythm player but for his style of music.
I could not agree with you more. He was one of the best of all time. He could do it all, and he did it with style and class
Cool thanks
It was SRV who got me back into guitar ???? right before I quit playing. I had my Strat for years but never used the neck pick-up until one day I did and I realized, wow that kinda sounds like SRV.
Great pointer man! Love it! Thank you so much!
He might very well be the ???? ????
