iPad Guitar Amp Reviews Pt.1 – Ampkit by Peavey
just giving the ampkit a quick spin in this video, it’s ok, although I don’t see a use for it beyond practicing or teaching purposes.

Well i think connecting the guitar using apogee jam 96k is much better…no feedback at all.
Will the Irig keys can function as a MIDI controller to control stomp box etc.? Thanks:-)
I don't get that awful feedback whenever I stop playing a note.
Maybe this is an older video than I thought and it's not the upgraded one
Bought the irig, installed ampKit, cant stop it from playing the pre recorded stuff over and over!! Where is the stop button?
Depends actually.. I can get tube like tones out of plugins that have fooled many into thinking its the real deal.
eBay?
can someone tell me where i can get one of these for less than 20 dollars?
lol well nuthin is ever gonna sound like a tube amp, unless its a tube amp,ive been seduced by all this digital crap, lol im ready for tubes again! : )
Can you record your guitar track down as an mp3 file?
@aoisatan the app has since been updated and sounds a lot better, going to have to do a new vid for them soon, since fender amplitube updated too.
holy shit thats some really good sound
@papasitoman honestly it is.. This is going to make practicing and teaching a breeze, the ibook app for reading PDFs to practice is great, and i imagine these apps will get better when the demand increases… just like amp modelling on PCs.. this reminds me of the earlier versions of guitar rig and amplitube.. so I imagine soon we'll get better sounds.
@ZeErMaC agreed.. distortion was very plastic and fake sounding.
@huesosACDC The software? is in the app store, and the link i got from Amazon.
That's pretty cool. I just moved into a shared house so this looks like a great option for movies, guitar practice and reading PDF files. It sounds pretty good. I mean, it's just an ipad so it's pretty cool! Thanks for posting!
