Price and features are tempting for headphone practice but my God those models sound horrible.
the hotone is not the same product…better know what are talking about before make a viddeo like this
well the Hotone costs 3 times as much for a reason. This little pedal has probably technology of 20 years ago.
Are there no drive pedals?
or are you just happy to see me?
I think its better to buy a Nux Mighty Plug or Fender Mustang Micro than this. No cables, same purpose, less hassle, more mature apps.
Multi effect units are not useful outside of practice and fun jams.
My last MFX was a boss GT8 and to get the most out of it you needed to set it on a table to reach knobs and make adjustments during play.
I have three stompboxes and a wah pedal now and I do everything i did with the gt8 but without all the trouble. Adjustments are super easy.
A multi effect unit is fun until you have to perform with it.
Thanks.
The first pedal for this was the M-Vave Black Box. Look it up.
Great video. The best value I have found is the Boss ME 80. Now that the ME 90 is out you can get the ME 80 on reverb between 80 and 125 dollars if you make some offers. Got one for 80 and one at 125.
Nice video! Looks like a nice piece of gear!
Bah, I just want one of these "micro multi" units at a sub $100 price that can respond to a MIDI In cable without needing an external host unit.
I don't need the audio interface capabilities either, or even the amp sims for that matter, but being able to integrate something with a minimal footprint that can handle delay/modulation/verb duties along with my favorite dirt pedals is the missing piece I need for my rig.
I like it! Reminds of a zoom effects box that I had years ago. It was gifted to me by a friend who borrowed it and never returned it, lol. That's a sweet SG! I have the one in Olive Drab Green w/a Maestro vibrato. Surprisingly, it stays in tune very well.
Good review but I'm not diggin' the pedal. It sounds a bit brittle and really fast on the attack. To me, it sounds a lot like the old Line 6 Pocket Pod but with a better user interface. It's not horrible but not fab either. If I had this, I'd do the same thing I do with my old Pocket Pod, put it in front of my old Frontman 25R. It has a new speaker that's slow to break up which would temper some of that attack and brittleness. Then I'd put the whole kit in the garage so I could roll up the garage door and annoy my neighbors. ????????
Hey Jayce I Had to Laugh when you said that the Valeton GP-200 was Kinda Large_ Only cause I was looking at my Vox Tonelab SE frm 2004_ & it made me realize that I Never left Bedrock_ wha ha ha_!! We've come a Long way in 20 yrs _ Huh_!??! ????
That's cool that the new multi fxs are coming with IR Loaders. This would make that unit somewhat powerful.
If you have a Mod amp would you need something like this? What do you mean by audio interface? Are you playing through your computer sound system? All I am familiar with is plugging into a Fender Mustang Lt 25 amp. Lol
Looks like it's named GP ZOO
