  • Nice! I use the rumble 40 at rehearsal (no effect model) and just purchased the new 800 combo w/ 2 x10 neo speakers. It's 29 lbs and fantastic, the perfect gigging bassist combo IMO. I don't need the DSP stuff. Hoping a 210 neo ext cab isn't far behind.

  • So because it's a modeling amp does it sound fake compared to say a standard Rumble (like the Rumble 500)? Also does it have it's own sound like maybe how it has a setting for Rumble V3 or is even that being modeled?

  • I have had a Rumble Studio 40 for small gigs and recently bought the Stage 800 for medium and larger venues. I was wondering if the settings I made on the 40 can be transferred to the 800. So far, I have found nothing in that regard. It’s not that difficult to make your own but it would be interesting to see if there is any difference in sound when transferred to the 800. Thanks.

  • How does the combo sound differ from having a rumble 800 head and say a 2-10 cabinet? What benefits would you get over the combo instead of the head and separate cabinet?

  • Can I get the foot switch separately I own a studio 40 and been really wanting a footswitch instead of having to buy pedals

  • Thanks, seriously considering this amp.
Is the tuner accessible & visible from the footswitch, or do you have to stare at the top of the amp?

  • I understand this amp to be awesome for small – mid size gigs, but can the volume be turned down enough for home practice?

  • Not that light…the new light amps for hobby players are 28to 33 pounds. And it's not 799, it's 900 plus tax. It's also 47 pounds making it too heavy for hobby playas or older guys…. It's a beast…

  • Hi I own and play this amp. I really like the presets but it seems to get very farty when the volume is turned up, especially in the Motown setting, which I love. Do you seem to experience this also? Also the volume seems to differ hugely between presets and I cannot seem to get them to stay all at a consistent volume between each preset. Any advice for me?

  • Hi… I am wondering if there is a lot of hiss with the tweeter on, especially if you are using some presets that push the treble some what or if the fan sound is noticeable.. ?

  • You have a nice setup here Ben. As you know I have an opinion on the amp models in the 800. When you get a chance, give your opinion on the different amp models.
    P.S. Nice amp….."wink".

  • Hello. I have owned this amp for 3 months now & I love it. I play it with Fender Elite P Bass with PJ mics. Have you already found some sweetspot settings for this amp? I play it mainly flat & just change the amp I use. This amp is really nice to use via Fender tone app.
