  • People think this pedal is only for metal but you can use it for pretty much anything. If you open up the instruction manual it has settings for Metal, British rock, Fuzz, Overdrive,Hard rock and various Rock types.

  • I run mine into the front of the amp with the level on full drive at 9oclock with eq after sounds great

  • It's only infamous because people don't know how to use it in different applications.
    Great video, mate. Good stuff

  • it got a bad rap because it was called the "Metal" Zone. They used to say the JCM 800 Marshall's sucked because the heavy metal players used them. never judge a book by its cover.

  • Gotta be in the effects loop on a low rent solid state amp and it’s a fun time. Add an octave double and you’re Red Fang. ???????? good stuff dude, I so wish I had started gear reviews years ago.

  • Nice one James! I can't lie, I thought all the tones you used were great! The first one had a real raw vibe, which I like because I love that saturated distorted sound. The second one was definitely more a classic Metal tone, and the third certainly had that 2000's Metalcore sound. I'd definitely say it's a good pedal, very versatile with tones too. Nice to hear some Meliorism in the background too ????????????????????

  • I think My Bloody Valentine used one. Belinda I believe, either that or the HM-2. BTW, you do an excellent job explaining pedals and are definitely knowledgeable about who’s using what. All the best!
