I post all of the music I make, including WAV stems; sample packs; Dirtywave M8 song bundles; collections of video textures; early access to videos; and a whole pile of other stuff on Patreon. I know I know, I hate doing this as well, but if you like what I do and want to get more of it, while also helping me offset some of my ludicrous gear purchases, this is the best place to do it:

If you just want to hang out and chat with me or other (nice) folks, drop by the Discord: https://discord.gg/7Q68pUKHAq

If you just want individual sample packs or downloads of video footage to use in your own projects, get them on Gumroad here: https://gumroad.com/allmyfriends

If you’re in the market for new gear, my favourite place to find new and interesting synthesizers and other electronic music gear is Signal Sounds. They are based in Glasgow, but ship all over the place and often have stuff nobody else does. Find them at https://www.signalsounds.com/

If you’re in the US and shop at Perfect Circuit, you can click through to see what they have in stock just now through my custom link. I get a small commission for any purchases made, which keeps me stocked up with whisky and beard oil https://link.perfectcircuit.com/t/v1/8-12626-263232-9759

and a whole pile of other stuff…

  • How do you think it sounds compared to the original? I always loved the rich dark timbre from the v1…

  • 0h 0f past week ordered a model-D and a [preorder] for a ugh whatever the red n black latest Beh clone is called" mainly due to my fear of underusing a OXIONE while I descend into de-pressing and knob twerking for a season or 2 meh

  • When you said the reverb was a different circuit, where did you get that information from? I emailed Dreadbox on this, and they told me it was the same Splash circuit as the V1, they had just 'improved' it by making it brighter on higher time values and extended the decay times for a more lush reverb. I'm interested on your thoughts, with you having a v1 to compare it with. The character of the reverb on V1 sounded fantastic, so I'm cautious about buying the kit without knowing it will sound as good as the V1.

  • Mine arrived today and I put it together. Sounds good, I immediately had some kind of dark ambient or industrial coming out of it the minute I turned it on. At first I had no idea what I did, and I had to read the manual to figure out all the switches and routing.

  • Just got mine delivered today, shipped direct from Athens. I too thought it was a bargain until I had to fork out an extra £70 gbp import taxes, thanks to our wonderfully successful referendum from a few years back… hopefully once I get it assembled I'll start to cheer up again! ????

  • If you're being paid to advertise something, what chance are you taking with it?

    And…wife?!

  • My wife and I love the way you talk. Your accent, vernacular, the whole nine. Great video. And I'm definitely getting one of these kits. Thank you!

  • Oh, now I know why I couldn't find these in stores in the USA that do have the Erebus reissue in stock. I built the Korg MS20M kit and it worked similarly. There was no soldering, just a lot of mechanical assembly and some board connections. The jack field part of the panel was a lot of work. I am very tempted to get one of these.
