  • I just ordered one off eBay for $110 w/free shipping. Seller has it up at around $131 or best offer. Offered $100, they counteroffered $125. I counteroffered $110. Sold. =]

I'll let you know what I think when it arrives.

  • Ranging from $70-$500 lol thats a hell of a price window. Got mine for Think it was $120 no more then $140 after shipping taxes etc. Mine came with a broken 3way toggle switch. So the seller refunded me $60 bucks. I bought a new 3way LP switch at my local Guitar center for like $15bucks. Installed it myself easy soldering job. In the end I got this guitar for under $100 bucks and that with a upgraded 3way selector switch. You cant beat that! Lol. Every thing else was great out of the box. The action was set nice and low the way I like. The fret ends are really good no proud fret ends unlike the Squier bullet telecaster I also bought around the same time. I took a look at some of the Epiphone Les Paul guitars also at my local guitar center and have to say $500 dollar epiphone close up has more flaws and imperfections Fret sprout and sharp ends. Im not a guitar expert but as I said this is a nice good sounding Les Paul style guitar. The only thing that I may change out is the tuners. There usable and hold tuning but feel kinda cheap.

  • great axe, had mine a couple years, needed a little work, had to remove the nut and reset it, was a little off, took the pick guard off it was flimsy, the frets needed a little attention but not a lot, upgraded the machine heads to dadario black locking tuners, pickups will be next, I own a Gibson, this guitar is very close

  • I got one of these a couple of years ago on eBay for $130. Plugged in and played straight from the box, didn't even have to tune it. I did eventually swap out the pick ups for P-90s but that's just a personal preference. The factory pick ups are just as good as any others I've worked with. It plays just as well as my $1,400 Gibson LP and I actually prefer the emerald green.

  • I was lucky enough to get one of those guitars for $75. I replaced the nut with a new bone nut and I also replaced the electronics with epiphone pro buckers and a push push coil split. It was nice right out of the box. Now it's fantastic. Oh yeah, I replaced the stopbar and bridge too.

  • I ordered a custom shop tele yesterday from IYV , just let them know the specs i wanted (colour/hardware) and now just awaiting them emailing me a digital picture of what i will receive (you have to pay upfront before they design it)..£238/$295 including neck off delivery to the UK..they are putting a cheap invoice payment to the box also, so i dont get creamed with UK customs duty ????
at that price, i thought it was worth an order ????

  • I love mine. I don't see how Gibson, Fender or the other guitar makers can keep up with these clones. Why would you spend thousands on a Gibson when you can have this high quality instrument for so much less?

  • Awesome playing I just ordered mine from eBay and I can't want to try it out. I hope it comes in a good condition.???? bought it from franklin shoppe at eBay is that the same store where you bought it?

  • Man, this is the one I I purchased. They do a really nice job on their build. Out of Vietnam even. Once I put a black roller bridge and saddle, black knobs, and Grover black tuners. Took the pickguard off to show the color. Honestly I got mine for sub 200.oo on Amazon. I was a bit leary as that is not a lot for a guitar you don't see or hold. I took the chance and it was incredible.
Side note, I just found the channel you have and look forward to watching more videos. I am more of a description kinda subscriber. Watching someone solely play an instrument is nice but the details are in the descriptions of all the different aspects of a guitar with a sub 200.oo pricepoint. Great video man. Be well.

  • It really is a great guitar. I love mine. I removed the pickguard and changed the knobs and switch to black. It's badass.

  • Everyone is always hating on green…LOL. It's actually my favorite color, and I've been eye-balling this thing for a couple of years, and have watched numerous vids on it from 2bikemike and others. So yeah, when I watched your video yesterday saying it was $129, I pulled the trigger. I really hope that it is OK out of the box… I think I used the same guy that you got yours from on ebay… but I didn't realize this guy didn't do returns, so hopefully all will be well. If it turns out good, I think this is a fantastic value, and I'm really excited to play it. Thanks for all you do, man! You are keeping the dream alive for us folks that have high standards… and low funds :D.

  • When this guitar first came out on Amazon I was interested because I had a few iyv guitars but I hated the colour and I was waiting for them to come up with something different. Well a year goes by and the price here was $300, and they didn't seem to be going down any and they were indicating Limited stock remaining, but then there was a a warehouse deal at $250 so I jumped on that one. I had usual work to do, fret work was the most, but I got it perfect. Mine is still stock after almost 2 years. Unusual for me.

  • Mike, beautiful guitar, I really like the color. It's amazing that the guitar came so well set up, with a bone nut and smooth fret work. I also like the look of the thick pick guard on this guitar.
