To me, this one piece by Bach is the most perfect and beautiful music ever created. This is a nice rendition. I think it is all about the tempo – not too fast and not staccato. Glen Gould's rendition is like putting a smiley face on the Mona Lisa. No offense to Glen of course as he was such an accomplished pianist.
Well done. This is based on the version including the so-called Schwenke measure (at measure 23), so it's actually the Gounod Ave Maria version of the prelude, in case you care to sing along…
