  • I bought mine for the Neck… THe pickups are pretty good too for me. Need to file the frets and replace the nut.. Might as well buy a Dinky js lol for real.

  • see I want this, but Jackson seems to think its funny to put an FR Special on every last guitar they're gonna build…..

  • I had that guitar, upgraded the electronics, played the heck out of it. But the floyd wore way too fast.

  • I just ordered mine, really looking forward to playing it. One of my favorite guitars is an Epiphone Firebird, the neck-through design produces some amazing tones and sustain. I will sand the back of the neck and do a little fine-tuning to the fret ends if needed. From everything I have read, they come well set up and very playable. I am willing to pay a premium for the neck design. I avoid bolt-on necks with a passion, these just seem cheaply put together, and even a $2k strat has a loose feel to me. This will be my first Jackson.

  • Got a gloss black one in 2020 for $379. Upgraded the soft zinc saddles to steel 1000 Series and a brass 34mm block… I highly recommend, it's worth it sounds noticeably better ????

  • I got one of these used for $230 and I'm pretty happy with it. Some minor visual imperfections but feels and plays great.

For the price I'm even happy with the Duncan Designed HB-103s, although I'd be happier with upgraded pickups and a push-pull to split the humbuckers

  • I actually have been looking at the Soloist SLXDX in snow white. Love these Jackson guitars. I have 1 now and want something a bit nicer.
