  • I bought a white one with black scratch guard last year and love it! The 7.25" neck radius makes it a little harder to set up, but the thinner neck with "D" shape make it easier to play than a standard precision neck. Great P-Bass tone!

  • I just purchased the red one, the mast is very well built, I was surprised that the bass is a little smaller than an American and Mexican preciison.

  • Hi there I've just come across your video and have subscribed.. I just ordered my first Japanese fender yesterday and I can't wait for it to arrive, it's a solid ash body p – bass with a maple neck and fretboard it has a black pick guard and looks beautiful, I've also requested it to be fitted with La Bella flatwound 760fs 34inch, 45, 65, 85,105 gauge strings. Just can't wait lol. Have you ever done a video of a Japanese ash body p – bass ,if so do you have a link,or do you plan on doing one?
    ✌️????✌️ Kind regards.

  • thanks for the video. Well worth it.
Been a bassist since 1975 and after going through bass after bass I finaly come to realize Fender Pbass is the way to go. The biggest thing is that Mid Growl " Here I am " Bass tome wins every time.
That one seems to address this. When your playing live, you want to be in the mix, not loud, but will true bass balls. I eventually ended my journey with a MIM PJ Bass and the only thing I did to it was use an original 1972 Pbass pickup I had sitting around. Its done and it gave me what I wanted. However ! You have thinking about a second bass and it looks like that might be the one.
    Thanks again.

  • just got one. its perfectly crafted but unlike what you said its not perfectly balanced. no basses are. so I need to replace the heavy vintage tuners with gotoh res-o-lites ????. Great review though.
