  • Hey Jame, I’m 62 and still playing bass guitar and singing lead Vocals. In early 2022, I bought a
New GK 800 Head with 2 210 & horn NEO cabs. Rated at 500 watts. And I just love it. GK has put itself back on the map of Great Bass Amplification.
Check it out if you haven’t already.
Any ways I’m primarily at Rock/
Prog Rock guy since 1981. Big on
RUSH but love to sing groups like Journey, Mickey Thomas Jane Jefferson Starship. Check out a few videos on you tube.
    Steve Nordstedt Plays and Sings.
And let me know what you think. Your an Awesome player.
Been watching your videos on Slap bass. As I’ve always admired Slap players. Like Flea, Victor Wooten. And this other guy on YouTube he’s definitely a like you AN Irish man with red hair who is a phenomenal player the best I’ve ever seen remember his name right all. But Thanks

  • Excellent roundup. Your channel has been worth watching every time.

One caveat: this video may need some kind of warning before 6:14 for the unusual angle on EPIC CHEST HAIR in a live setting. ????

  • Hey Jayme. That Jack Cassady must be pretty darn good. I've seen a lot of reviews on that bass, including Lobster. And they love the tone of it. It seems to be very versatile.
The SR500 is a good bass. I think the 505 would've been better for you. Just because of it's growl.
The David Eden stuff is very good in my opinion. I'd certainly put that at the top. Along with maybe some G-K stuff as well.
Keep on Rockin it my man.

  • What I like about this channel is that you review some stuff that other people don't cover and some stuff I never heard of. Never even heard of Michael Kelly basses before and that jazz bass is a BANGER. Especially at the budget price!

  • The short scale stingray does sound great but I returned mine. The edge of fingerboard was dented at three places right out of the box and I couldn't get the trussrod adjusted. Seemed stuck. I assume the store fixed that because they listed the bass as b-stock on their website.

  • Great video, Jayme. I hope to see you include more opinion and comparison of the gear you demo in upcoming reviews ????
