I would honestly say that John 5 is one of the best guitarists in the world.
motley crue has become straight trash, John 5 is a great guitarist seems like a waste to be playing with them however.
Such an awesome interview and John 5 is such an awesome guy! He really does have a lot of admiration for Mick and doesnt want to mess with perfection so he doesnt add or change anything which has gained him a lot of respect from the fans! If you dont like John 5 you will after this article and video!
Comes across as so humble and understanding about his position in the guitar world. Such an epic journey
this dude looks like the bad guy from zoolander
John is probably the best guitar player 'for hire' out there today. Every gig he steps into, he nails it…and he is very adamant about trying to play the parts as they werer recorded. Both out of respect to the original guitarist and to the song itself. The guy is definitely a professional. Another thing about him that impresses me is his loyalty to the telecaster. There are countless other guitars out there that would make it much easier to play the style of music he plays. But he stays with the tele. They are great guitars..but they are unforgiving..especially with that big honking heel.
I saw John tonight in New Hampshire. I brought my 9 year old daughter with me, it was her first show. I had seen him with the CREATURES a few years back and was not aware that this evenings show was a JOHN 5 show without the Creatures. It was amazing all the same, A slightly stripped down flavor.
John said he loved the are we lived in when he came through years back, and it was awesome to hear him say it again this evening. We love him as well.
i’m really disappointed with the original music ???? he’s done so far with motley crue, i was expecting some 80’s style metal instead of “dogs of war” and the beastie boys cover, the crue needs to mend the fence and get mick back
