You're amazing and your knowledge and delivery… All of it EXCELLENT !! YOU'RE GREAT AT IT AND YOU GOT YOUR HEART IN IT ????… IT SHOWS
???????????????????????? !!!
Let‘s all just be in tune. United in the love of John Lennon. He was a great guy, an inspired musician!
Yeah just try to play the All My Loving rhythm part cleanly. You can see how tough it is.
John lenon was the one of the greatest top rhythm guitarist
He really laying thick.
Lennon's work on the Get Back song just proves that Lennon could create some gems when inspired. The combination of rhythm and lead guitar licks is damn good work.
????????????
Try playing the triplets on All My Loving for 2.5 minutes
Thank you man, that s cool stuff, i love the fab four, take care. Serge from France.
Badass!
John’s guitar riffs changed the game from Day Tripper to I want you She’s so Heavy
Netherlands? Is Johnny Lion of The Jumping Jewels still alive?
I don't know Finger Picking Style…..
I’ve seen him play .
I think John was too underrated as a Guitarrist… he was a Genius! One of the best ‚ also bcs he learned by Paul (and his Mother) he took a few Lessons but not many‚ considering also the Rhythm of get back of u cant do that or roll over Beethoven‚ is wonderful! His parts are not easy! The riff of i feel fine as well ! He created It
He was a genius
Yes, he was very good, and created some of the best rock songs in history. So was paul, george and ringo
Watching John play that in the Get Back film totally blew me away. Thanks for posting.
John Lennon was a powerful spirit. His energy was the central energy of The Beatles. His energy carried the other three, as a wave carries surfboard riders. His rhythm guitar playing was not just rhythm guitar playing, it was a powerful spiritual energy.
Great mate!!!!
John was blessed with rhythm, not only in his strumming and unorthodox time signatures, but also in his vocals; just listen to him singing the verses in All You Need Is Love, such amazing word gymnastics.
John lennon was a great guitarist underrated and he was a great musician played keys also
What stupid question John could play guitar great
John was one of the best rhythm guitarists of the 60s paul and george ofyen took the lead parts untile pauls guitare broke and he played piano untile stu left and as mccarney says today he didn't want the job fat guys in back played bass but after hearing james jamerson he learned he could do more than single root notes
IM A GUITAR PLAYER. OFTEN PROFESSIONAL. and yes John was an excellent player. Just not flashy He was a Beatle ffs and the chief Beatle at that.
You do his part different, but still good!
Lennon was an amazing rhythm guitar player. His abstractness was equaled by few
The Beatles had a really good live sound, always matching the record, there were only two guitarists so John obviously contributed to it.
Yeah, he could play, sometimes a little sloppy but his rhythm was very solid. He played a lot of open chord stuff but he knew his triads, barre chords and augmented chords without even looking at the fretboard.
Double Fantasy demos that he made are great. He was an extremely good rhythm player
Yes
I've always thought John Lennon only plays the "simple chuck berry stuff" until I tried Julia. Damn it hurt my F-fingers!
Do not forget "Yer Blues", an absolutely underrated song.
The Beatles had three very good guitar players in it- Eric Clapton
Lennon was taught picking by Donovan, when they met in India
Saw the title and thought, of course he can. He might not be a “virtuoso” on the guitar it self, he is a GREAT player, and a “ virtuoso” songwriter.
John Lennon wasn't a lead guitarist….in the Beatles or any other time….
He wasn't a technical guitarist…ala Jeff Beck…Joe Satriani…..but the Beatles didn't really need one. He did great things with the little he knew….more expressive stuff….
