Eastman are good builds
Yeah but even in the Epiphone lineup I got a 2020 Epiphone hummingbird performer pro for 499. It has a solid spruce top with X bracing, and solid back and sides. Way better tone when it's a solid wood guitar. However to each their own. Yeah its a few dollars more but technically sale price is still under 500. Not after taxes but still. Now if you can find one because its a limited edition run they are under that price. Some still go over because they understand its a limited edition guitar. One day could be worth a lot of money.

The man knows his inventory, and he knows how to present it just shy of strumming it, but the customer can do that if there is that initial appeal. . . . For what it is worth, I have owned an Eastman cello for years. Other than replacing the original strings, after a couple of years of use, I have had no other issues.

Unfortunately they don't make the PCH2 with classic finish or a gloss finish. They make it in natural and black.
