  • I despise how the landscape has changed in such a way from the kendrick and drake beef that you can't call something mid without being a "drake glazer" but it's completely acceptable to be a kendrick glazer. This album is the same generic trap slop that future makes. And now I am loathe to trust another fantano review for this reason, sad to see the IMMENSE bias this guy has for kendrick

  • Even if damn isn’t one of his best performing albums, it’s always gonna be one of my favorite albums of all time by far.

  • Todd in the Shadows had a great point about the Kendrick/Drake beef being a line in the sand to clearly separating Hip-Hop from Pop. The modern zeitgeist seems to reflect the peoples rebellion against the mainstreams blendering of music, fashion, and politics into a mush of gray market-tested averages. There is no average listener, no average moviegoer, no average voter, no average anything. Everyone belongs into their own subcultures with their own values and own esthetics. The people are tired of being culturally homeless and politically atomized. Conformity is weakness, unity is strength, choose your path, find your people and stand together. Make allies with other groups while accepting their differences as equal and work together as a society instead of pretending that we are all the same and everything that is done to us is done by us. Know your enemies and take a stand, because if you don't believe in anything then you'll fall for anything.

  • I heard somebody say to listen to the album from back to front than listen to the GNX Promo Video and it gave me a whole new perspective about that GEMINI theme that was heavily promoted in the GNX Teaser Video.

  • Light 9 is saying it's at the same level as Good Kid, M.A.A.D City, and that it's better than DAMN, Section.80, and Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers…. yea right its at best a decent 7

  • Before this album Kendrick was on track to be the Goat after this album I will never willfully listen to another one of his songs ever again. He wanted it all while his fans are in sex slavery for his Prostitution based religion he sold out to on this album. Don't put my name in any of your songs ever again unless your dissing me Kendrick.

  • Fuckin incredible. Kendrick is kind of like the Kurt Cobain of hip hop, except hopefully he wont end up destructed, as you explained. Rappers have been talking about "ending the game" for a long time. I think someone who gets as much attention as Ken and who is generally seen as someone who deserves the hype – and then demands it explicitly – …what Im saying is he might be taking hip hop to a point where its run it's full course. Cobain did it with rock, arguably.

  • "Lamarian" is absolutely a word, not that should, but WILL be added to the dictionary at some point during most of our lifetimes. Up and coming rappers in the ghettos of Star Base Theta Lambda VII may not listen to Kendrick regularly, but if there's a future where hip hop exists in any capacity, his name's living the fuck on.

  • The album is good but my least favourite Kendrick Lamar album. Kendrick is one of my favourite artists. I give the album a 7/10 or a 6/10 its a good album but i dont think it deserves a 9. I believe his other albums are better imo. This one is a really modern driven album, its not really a Kendrick Lamar album,Its a good album though just not a 9/10 lol.

  • The album is a 5 to me. I listened to this album 3 times front to back so I could really absorb it and I just couldn’t see what makes this album so special. Kendrick is an incredible rapper but THIS album was so wack. I was disappointed listening to it. I can’t believe this man gave it a 9.
