  • Hello, do you know what Joyo pedal are each side? I give you an example: Is the Right side a Joyo Vintage Overdrive? something like this,,,,Or each side has an unique sound that not comes from other Joyo pedal? or really comes from King of tone?

  • Used the King of Kings with a killer seventies tube amp named the Evan Bass 60. Made in Italy, this amp and the pedal are an amazing combo! Video's available on my channel.

  • Great review, succinct and informative. I am sick of the noodles and no opinion or experience with the product. Good job.

  • I got the Queen of Tone and it all sounded fine but was confused by a gap in tone when engaging the pedal. Is that normal? I don't have that with my Lunastone OD pedal.

  • I have a klon clone, should I stack it with the king of kings pedal or is that unnecessary?

  • I have one for about a year, it is a really fantastic double overdrive, transparent, creamy, with a lot of character and tremendously versatile with double diode clipping on each side and it does not abuse the mid tones like most of the OD derived from the TS, It is very balanced and with a good dose of distortion as a whole.
This pedal is based on the KOT, which in turn is based on the first Marshall Bluesbreakers, that is, they are two independent BBs but they do not sound the same at all being in the same parameters. Anyone who buys it will fall in love with it because in addition to being cute it is built for life. Absolutely recommended if you are a lover of electric Blues, Blues-rock and I suppose also for Jazz and Pop. Instant vintage and classic sound.

  • Totally blown away by the tasty tone of this pedal. I think it will permanently stay on my board for worship @ church!
Question, so you mentioned i think, left side use for leads and right side for Overdriven Rhythm crunch, is it wrong to use it the other way around? ????

  • Man…this is a good demo…thanks. I was just given the Joyo King of Kings as a gift for my birthday and I could't be happier! I've had all these Pedals at one time or another and I can honestly say that Joyo's Value, Quality, and Tone is unbeatable for the Price…Hell Man…Joyo even gives me something I can really use…a Freakin LIGHT…a Yellow Light!
Here's the Deal…I kinda feel a Tube Screamer meets Clean Boosty thang going on here and what's so cool is there's no Midrange Hump (associated with Screamers) and zero back ground noise at Idle) It's hard to get a bad sound using this Joyo…I haven't yet!
    Thanx Slim…Doc

  • Could you elaborate a little more on what each clipping switch does?

I’ve found both of them in the “off” position yields more of a classic blues breaker sound that is louder, and both “on” gives you the most overdriven crunch on tap. Position 2 seems to clip the least and keeps a more open feel, with position 1 the hardest clip. Do I have this right?

  • Staging overdrives is very intelligent, I always feel going to ten on pedal is so noisy and saturated. Outcome…..Noise.
